The cottage was small but perfectly formed. We arrived as the owner was leaving and she gave us a very warm welcome. We were staying to visit the Three Counties Spring Show and were able to walk there and back although the footpath was a little rough, but at least dry.

I stubbed my foot on the hearth. Otherwise, absolutely nothing was wrong with the cottage.

Host was very helpful. The apartment was lovely, clean and comfortable. It was lovely to have some private outside space to sit in the sunshine and a private entrance. The extra touches of tea, coffee and breakfast cereals provided is nice too.

The resort was in a good location and the services were good there was a pathway to the beach and there was a restroom which looked over the sea which was lovely.

The property looked nothing like the pictures online when we have booked it it was extremely outdated, the floors and walls were dirty the pots in the cupboard were dirty and there was a weird damp musky smell, overall just not what we expected, we saw a few any the first night before we went to sleep but though nothing of it then when we woke up there were ants everywhere all over our stuff on the floors and in our rooms. I went to guest services to try and sort this out and the lady just said it’s been happening a lot so they will get maintenance over later so we had to go out for the day and when we came back there were dead ants all over the floor which was disgusting you’d think they would clean them and not leave them all there, we also felt like as the room has been treated with chemicals was it even safe for us to stay in this room after, and if this was an issue why would we be allowed to check in to an ant infested room over all just not great.

very basic / disapointing breakfast - I don't eat eggs/ bacon etc, couldn't face canned fruit, boxes of cerials, sliced white/brown bread so took myself off somewhere else to try find some decent coffee etc. In retrospect better not including breakfast! Shower took a long time to make functional - head kept falling off stem and then required delicate balencing act between hot and cold taps for water temperature - had to hold in hand as didn't attach to wall etc.
