The location being close to the highest point on the island provided both stunning views and a quiet retreat from the bustle of the main towns, which suited us perfectly, although having a car is recommended. We were so warmly welcomed by Thomas the hotel manager who is passionate about making your stay as perfect as possible and was so friendly and helpful throughout. A massive thumbs up to Thomas. The beautiful modern accommodation is built to a high standard and spotlessly maintained. We had a suite with private pool which was such a pleasure to relax into whilst taking in the magnificent sea view from high up at the end of a day’s sight seeing and to also sit beside whilst enjoying the delicious breakfast served to order each morning. Our stay of a week was a pure delight that exceeded our high expectations. If we ever return to the island we will definitely aim to stay there again.

The Summit of Mykonos

From the very start, Stergios was wonderfully friendly and welcoming. He organised transport to The Summit from our current hotel, and every night we were there, organised dinner to be delivered from a local restaurant (as we had no transport). We were given an upgrade to our room free of charge, with the most spectacular view! Anything we needed was quickly provided, and by the end of the stay, we felt as though we were leaving friends.

Nothing to fault the hotel, just keep in mind that there are a lot of steps around the hotel and any walking to the beach is a steep hill. And bring mosquito spray!

Beautiful Old House, restored carefully and decorated with love and taste. Balcony room recommend. View is wonderful. We watched the goats leaving in the morning an returning on the evening (loved the Sound of their bells). Phantastic breakfast, everything homade, different things everyday. The host Aris was kind and shared a lot of usefull information with us. All his suggestions were great events for us (visit the village Karitena!)

It is an amazing place to stay, and it has all you need for a room. It was spacious and was so easy to check in. Surrounded with lots of amenities and not a loud neighbourhood.

For the price paid, I can't say anything that I didn't like. Was told before my arrival that room would be cleaned once every 3 days, but to my surprise, it was done daily. Maybe the mattress can be upgraded to a non-spring kind to make it better, but what's available is already good.

Small problem with one member of staff in the reception area, over a misunderstanding over breakfast, my fault, but she could have been more private about what was said to me, in front of other people, basically I thought I'd booked breakfast in my stay....I hadn't, I'd had breakfast the first day, went in again and the lady came in and chastised me for not paying, in front of other people, I checked my booking, and saw that I'd only booked self catering, and when I went to pay for my breakfast, I told her that I had eaten breakfast too the day before, so I could I pay for that too. I told her I was sorry, she was ok after that...that's the only thing that bothered us, just use a little more tact, people do make mistakes.
