This was my first time at a hotel run by students and I had a wonderful experience. All the staff at reception and at the breakfast were wonderfully attentive and professional. The hotel is quite modern, clean and spacious, the rooms are very comfortable and large, and the bathroom had an excellent shower. For breakfast they offer an open buffet which included a variety of cheeses, ham and pastrami, yoghurt, cereals, etc.., and they serve the best coffee I had during my stay in Amsterdam. There is a tram stop just infront of the hotel that takes you to Amsterdam centraal in about 15 minutes. Overall, I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and I definitely recommend it for short or long stays in Amsterdam.

Simply superb Hotel all round. Under the lovely Management Team, the Staff were all hugely welcoming, the food both evening meals and breakfast was outstanding in the quality, choices and prices. The Junior Suite room was first class, with all the facilities one could wish for. Free Hotel transport every 30 mins to/from the Airport another bonus, plus, the adorable Classic 747-400 Aircraft parked up in the Restaurant Grounds is available for tours. A superb, well thought out hotel, with expertly trained highly professional staff, always with a smile. Nothing was ever too much trouble to ask for.

Check in - easy and welcoming Breakfast - good selection of tasty food. Coffee machine good and freshly baked Bread all to a very good standard with clean and comfortable surroundings. Dinner - extensive menu. Black Angus steak cooked to our preferences and staff efficient and friendly. The addition of a sparkling candle for our 49rh wedding anniversary was a lovely surprise. Thank you! Swimming pool and sauna areas were excellent very relaxing with views of the Forrest adding to the ambiance. Cleanliness- excellent. Very comfortable beds and the quietness of the woods meant a good sleep.

Room 308 - due to its location on the top floor end the shape of the room was quirky. A steep slope to one side and a separate W/c that was enclosed in a tiny space. We didn’t complain but we would have if our stay was longer than three nights. I would recommend avoiding this room if possible.

It is a good location with well connection to other locations in the city. You can take a walk tour to the Museum quarter. The room is large enough, with cozy beds whilst the breakfast is sufficient and enough to start the day. The staff is friendly and at disposal. Although it is not a luxurious one, the hotel is clean. Grocery store under the hotel is priceless.

You need to be ready for a lot of noise if you get a room looking towards street. Trams and delivery vehicles to the grocery store interrupting sleep early in the morning, as well as poor noise isolation inside the hotel. Be prepared for conquer the extremely narrow stairs to get to the third floor.

The two buildings of this Guesthouse have ample spaces to seat and use the free coffee machines or eat the free fruit provided. The room was well designed and had a big TV with Chromecast Google TV included. Location is excellent. Price was also very good.

Very bad bicycle parking. I have got used to excellent secure bike parking everywhere in the Netherlands but this was just a fence with a couple of bike wheel hoops. Also unprotected from the elements.
