Was a transit stop for an early morning flight. It was fairly late in the even and we still found places that served good tasty food. The pods were easy to find. I would suggest booking beforehand rather than showing up and hoping there is space.

It's just cheap hotels surroundings the airport. Nothing to do or see as far as I can tell but I was only there for a stopover. Hanoi is a brilliant city and I love and recommend it but the area around the airport isn't much. Like anywhere, it's just set up for the airport which makes sense. We arrived at the hotel at 0830 and got a room by 1000. We checked out by 2100 same day. We had no breakfast. The owner organised all our transport to the centre of the city at very competitive prices. Make sure when you arrive in Hanoi that you make contact with the hotel and they will arrange pick-up. We didn't and got ripped off by the taxi company inside the terminal. This hotel is extremely good value and run by dedicated wife and husband team.
