Really enjoyed my time here. Staff is friendly and helpfull. Feels like they are willing to meet others intrinsically. I have felt more welcome than in most chain hostels. And the dogs are lovely.

The best place I probably stayed at during my stay in India. Amazing atmosphere, you'll end up wanting to hang at the hostel instead of heading to the beach, because you will feel welcomed as if u were at home. They host organizes daily activities - we went to watch a katakhali dance performance, had a movie night, and games night, among other things. There's a common kitchen and a mini market right on the other side of the street. They also cook incredibly amazing breakfast, if you don't want to bother looking for a place to eat or cooking smthg yourself. I'll keep such great memories from this place and can't wait to come back.

Very clean and comfortable rooms, good facilities. The lockers have a good size and are located next to the bathroom instead of under the beds, which makes it much easier to use them. Good AC and fan, and nice common areas. There is free filtered water, and the rooftop bar has a nice basic menu. Very friendly staff and good organised activities!

I stopped by the hostel before checking-in. The place looked amazing. A great location at the edge of North cliff. Amazing patio with seating, helpful staff. I was looking forward to stay but unfortunately I had an injury and had to go to a hospital instead. The injury required stitches and it took over a month to heal. The staff and the manager helped me to cancel my booking and get my money back. If I ever return to Varkala, I hope to stay with them!

Excellent property, has an old time charm. The property is close to the beach (which is a plus ).vivek and Anaz were very accommodating. I highly recommend Zebra Hostels.
