We loved the lounge on the second floor and the meditation area. The staff is super kind and the whole building feels luxurious. The standard room is bigger than the Japanese average.

They offer free soft drinks, pastries and snacks. They do not charge for cleaning the room if you need it. Staff is kind and professional. You can also do the laundry for 300-600 jpy. Nishiki market, Kyoto Palace are in a walking distance. For the price we paid it was outstanding.

The location is in the center of kyoto within a peaceful street. 100 meters away from a bus station, 200 meters away from a subway station. There are many resturants and shops around it. You can just walk to many places, such as the Kyoto Imperial Palace, Gion, Kamo River, Nijo Castle, Kyoto-Kawaramachi(for shopping), etc.

We love and absolutely adore the hospitality and professonalism of the staff at Mimaru Suites Kyoto Central. They were helpful to our needs and request and did a fantastic job of making our stay pleasant. I was traveling with my wife and young 5 year old daughter. Whenever we needed help with the restaurant reservations, they were always accomodating and helped us. They also presented me with a lovely and thoughtful birthday card during my stay. I will definitely stay here again with my family. Room was spacious and clean and location was convenient. There were numerous carparks near the hotel for those who are driving so it is not a hassle to find a carpark space. Thank you very much to the staff for giving us a wonderful experience.

The room was fully equipped and beautifully designed. The hotel ambience right from the entrance till the elevator going up to the rooms is nice.

Objekat HOTEL SHIKISAI KYOTO je smešten na idealnoj lokaciji u gradu Kjoto, i to u četvrti Nakagyo Ward, na 5 min. The hotel Shikisai was simply extraordinary. Our suite was very spacious, with a large bedroom, an equally large bathroom and a lovely lounge. The decoration was refined and all the amenities were there to make our stay enjoyable. A truly luxurious experience, in a fantastic area of Kyoto where we found plenty of good restaurants. We would definitely be back if we return to Kyoto in the near future.

Open from November 2018, located in Kyoto and 500 metres from Kyoto International Manga Museum, MIMARU Kyoto Shinmachi Sanjo has rooms with free WiFi access. Loved the size, the cleanliness, the location. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
