Absolutely beautiful apartment in an old building in the center of Montefioralle, a beautiful village near Greve in Chianti. Greve is in walking distance. The kitchen has everything you need. The landlord kindly provided snacks and drinks, so we could have a small meal, before we went to the supermarket. A few hundred meters away, there is a beautiful place for wine tasting. The best is the beautiful terrace with a stunning view to the environment.

Set in the Chianti, which offers the perfect combination of history, nature, crafts, and not least discoveries in food and wine, the Fornaci farm offers a wonderful place to enjoy and relax. Valentina and Nicolò are wonderful hosts and very nice people. They were helpful both in practical things and with good tips about where to eat and what to do. Armed with these tips we could enjoy its highly authentic experience. While staying in Casa Alessi, we have enjoyed the fresh eggs, vegetables and the farm made goat cheese, a real delicacy. We are looking forward to be back here!

we couldn’t believe how big the space was, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen dining, living and balcony were all a tremendous size. we went as a couple and could easily have had 2 more with us. loved the position for people watching and Vino overlooking the piazza. very relaxing stay in the middle of a long trip away

Large apartment with a spacious balcony overlooking the town square. We could have our simple meals on the balcony, just watching the activity in the square below. For the 2 days were stayed, there was a flower market & some clothing/craft stalls in the square, so the whole area was so pretty and full of activity. Best place to stay if you are in Greve! Parking was only a 5min walk away, so very convenient.

The host was extremely professional and gracious. The wood fireplace was a game changer that we enjoyed most every night. Comfortable furniture, great beds and a newly renovated apt made for an exceptional time. The vineyard is at the top of a hill near a natural preserve area. Lots of game to see and birds to watch.

The location was perfect in the hills just outside of Panzano, right next to a wonderful restaurant. The property had a perfect view of the hills and vineyards of Chianti. The apartment itself was very clean, quality furnishings that were clearly new, and most importantly allowed us to relax!! While the location was a bit off the main road, it was perfect for our family to enjoy some quiet time. Our host was wonderful as well as she was there to greet us, made a reservation for lunch at the restaurant and made sure we got our passports back after accidentally forgetting them! Highly recommend staying here!!

It's a 15 minute walk to town (downhill) and an uphill slog to get back, but there are free parking places you can find in town if you don't want to walk or you don't want to drive and leave you car in the paid car parks. Apartment is large and comfortable, is in a beautiful setting and is, mostly , quiet.
