It saved us that Karen left everything prepared. We arrived very late due to the fact that we were doing a roadtrip directly from Edimburgh with little stops, and the time was flying. We contacted Karen through booking itself, and she replied very quickly and very warmly, and she told us that it was okay, that she prepared the heating for us, and also placed some delicious muffins and scones, as well as milk and jam, which we tried at our arrival after arriving tired and hungry. We found the cabins without problems. We could park next to the cabin. The beds were very confortable and the shower it's great and very warm. Also the cabin is equipped with everything you might need to prepare yourself some meals. We bought some eggs (they sell them) and we prepared delicious omelettes with them. Also you can ask for breakfast which will be delivered the next morning to your cabin and Karen will leave it at the door, which is again, very convenient, and the prices are great. We deffinitely need to come back to see the ducklings grown up!

The beds were comfortable, there are all the needed appliances for a great stay while cooking as well.

Very comfortable and has a full kitchen. The owners thought of every detail which made our stay very special. Had bathrobe, slipper, travel toiletry kit. The heating works very well. The bed is very comfortable. But the most special of all was the host's attention to us, there is a coffee maker with many types of coffees and chocolate. Many teas of different flavors. Cookies. Food in the fridge for breakfast - milk, cornflakes, jam, pancakes and cheese. There were also very tasty apples. The location is perfect, you can get to know the whole city on foot and there is free parking. The host also offered us early check in. Fantastic! Thank you to the hosts!

Dunshee is a beautiful place and the hosts were very friendly and welcoming. It was was equipped and immaculately clean , within a short distance to the local village of Dunvegan , which has hotels, restaurants, cafes and local shops
Everything was pure luxury. The amount of food and drink in your room (replenished daily) is not something I've experienced before. The hot tub is awesome and the room is huge. The host also went above and beyond to ensure our wedding day went as planned and comped us a nice bottle of prosecco as a gift! Thanks again, we will be back. P.s. I have over 50 reviews on booking.com and this is the first time I've given a 10!
The croft is a beautiful property and Tigh Dubh an extremely cosy retreat. The hand-picked furniture and decor, the little details, and the fireplace create a comforting atmosphere and make you feel right at home. Alistair's island tips were invaluable and helped us to replace some of the tourist hotspots with great alternatives. As a bonus, he even helped us pump up the tyre on our rental car, saving us a trip to the local petrol station.
Generally comfortable and welcoming booking in experience. Nice views out to the bay and lovely setting in small village.
Location, location, location! Would have loved to have seen a view of more of the water, but the rolling hills, pretty houses & sheep made up for it. Very compact room, but works. Very warm, didn't feel at all cold. Did a load of washing on our arrival & all were dry in the morning. Lovely touch with the bottle of wine & chocolate Heidi left along with a postcard & note. Luxurious bathrobes, towels, slippers & hotwater bottles a nice touch. Beautiful woolen curtains & rug.
Really well-appointed chalet-for-two up in the north-east corner of Skye, with a lovely view north over Staffin Bay. The chalet is actually in Stenscholl, 10 minutes or so walk north of Staffin, but the Staffin shop is right up at that end of the village. Everything in the chalet itself was very good and the accommodation was well-prepared. One tip: the wifi isn't great. (Internet on Skye is pretty rubbish, actually.) If the wifi started to slow down or hang, we found it helped to "forget the network", then reconnect.
Short walk on a good sidewalk to the village for coffee and food. Private and quiet. Washed snd drier a big help after a few days of hiking and plunging. Huge deck would be good in warmer weather. Great location for all things Isle of Skye
Luxury B&B. We felt very well taken care of. The host is delightful and accommodating. The view of Uig harbour is lovely. The bed is huge and comfortable. GREAT SHOWER. Extra touches like snacks and coffee machine take this place to the next level. There is a dining table for two, fridge and fluffy bath robes. The spa has a great view. Breakfast in our room was a 2-course luxurious affair. Highly highly recommended!
