Ideally located at the quiet end of the bay, with bars etc a short walk along the beach so your stay will be tranquille. Massages in their spa, are truly excellent. Staff extremely friendly, safe for women travellers. Local bus / taxi stop 5 mins away. We had a great time here.

My husband and I stayed 3 nights at Samed Garden Resort and would highly reccomend staying here! We stayed in a 2nd story room, the room was much bigger than we expected with a beautiful view of the garden that felt like we were in a tree house. The room was emaculately clean. Some reviews say that the accomodation is "far away" from the rest of the town.. but we hired a scooter for the time we were here (we hired one for 280 baht a day and was a great way to see the rest of the island too) and it was only a 6 minute scooter ride to the main strip - I would not call this far away :) The owner is the loveliest person you could meet who went above and beyond to help us with any requests or questions we had. Thankyou for the lovely stay!

The staff were so nice and attentive, always smiling and helpful. We loved how everything we needed was provided by the resort and already included in the room rate. Waking up to a breakfast buffet every morning and eating with toes in the sand at the nicest beach on the island. The bay was so calm and clear, perfect for taking out the paddle boards and see-thru kayaks. Loved the ocean view from our room, we could watch the sun set perfectly from our bed.

We loved our stay at Horizon. At first we worried that the construction would be loud, as we read so in some reviews. But we spent most of our day exploring the island, so we didn't stay at the resort past the morning. The room was very clean and cozy and the beds were so comfortable, they also added their personal touch in the decor, which I appreciated. The buffet breakfast had both Western and Asian options, with fruit and juice, tea, or coffee. I really enjoyed my stay, and the resort manager and other staff were so friendly and helpful!

Location is very good, close to the beach, restaurants, and convenient stores. Friendly staffs, room is clean, equipped with 2 floors which convenient for staying with friends. There was no hair dryer inside the room, but we received it immediately upon requesting this from the staff.
