When we travel, we want to discover the world and see as much as possible of our travel destination. We never stay at one hotel and we don't care much about the hotel selection. That is completely different in the Maldives: your hotel is your travel destination. The selection of the hotel is very important and I did a lot of research. Oblu Select has very good reviews but we were scared about the potential downsides or hidden flaws. Well...We could not find any! This hotel is THE best. We loved our stay. It was beyond our expectations and we didn't notice points of improvement. We had a water villa with pool and the room was so pretty. Just amazing! The staff was also very friendly and helpful. I have never experienced something like that. Our host Mayrem was the sweetest. She was always there for us and helped us with whatever request we had. At the same time, she kept enough distance to respect our privacy. Every staff member was so sweet, helpful, respectful and caring. But without being pushy or indiscreet. The food was delicious and has the highest quality. There was enough variety: buffet, à la carte, live cooking and different restaurants. Eating at Oblu Select is an experience in itself. The underwater restaurant was a very special experience! It was great! We also recommend the floating breakfast and private movie night. The spa facilities are top notch. So professional and beautiful at the same time. I love the fact that this hotel is small-scale and has quiet/discreet/respectful quests. It never felt crowded. You can truly relax at this hotel because it avoids all 'party elements': no loud music, no club, no nightly events...Loud music and parties would be contradictory to the peaceful vibes of this hotel and island. If you realy need loud music or a party, you can visit the other island (connected by a bridge). The fact that this hotel is 'Adult Only' makes a huge different as well. No crying, no screaming, no tantrums.

Our stay at Baros resort surpassed all expectations. Every aspect, from the facilities and our room to the warmth of the staff and their exceptional service, exceeded our desires. The transportation and airport arrangements were impeccably smooth, with the team consistently catering to our needs. The tranquil natural surroundings added to the serenity of the resort, making our stay truly unforgettable. A very special thanks to our caring butler Reema who was always there for us, alongside Aanis at the airport, and numerous other staff.

The property is exactly as is on the photos. The marine life is remarkable. The staff and the foods were also on point. We were upgraded to the misty rain which was an awesome experience to reawaken the skin senses. The airport transfers were effortless. Definitely recommend it.

A boutique heaven 40 mins away from Male by speedboat. Everything was perfect! This is not an over the top resort. If you like private and discreet luxury, then this hotel is for you. The island is small with a bustling marine life perfect for snorkeling. The food is delicious and is a well curated menu catering to all. This was our 5th trip to the Maldives and first time at COMO Cocoa Island. We will definitely be back!

Rauhallinen lomasaari, siisteys, ystävällinen henkilökunta. Sekä aamiainen että iltabuffet oli monipuolinen, joka ilta oli vaihtuva teema buffetissa. Venematka lentokentältä kesti vajaa 10min. Kaunista kasvillisuutta saari ympäri. Tämä saari sopii hyvin esteettömän liikkumiseen, jalkakäytävät ympäri saarta olivat hyvässä kunnossa. Rantapyyhkeet vaihdettiin joka päivä, omia ei tarvitse ottaa mukaan. Deluxe bungalow oli hyvä valinta, se oli lähellä rantaa ja lisäksi bungalowiin kuului 2 rantatuolia jotka oli merkitty huoneiston numerolla.

Majoitus oli hyvä. Me asuimme Water Villassa, 523. Ensimmäisinä päivinä tuuli kovin eikä uiminen Villasta ollut miellyttävää. Villojen ulkopuolella oleva vesi on matalaa - noin vyötäröön. Viimeisinä päivinä kun oli tyynempää, oli ihanaa. Ruoka oli ok. Joka ilta oli jonkin maan ilta: Ranska, Italia, Mexico jne. Aina oli myös kiinalaista ka intialaista ruokaa tarjolla. Allas oli iso ja siellä oli joka päivä vesijumppaa. Retkistä osallistuimme vierailulle paikalliselle saarelle sekä snorklausreissulle. Molemmat oli ihan hyviä. Paikallisella saarella ei ollut juurikaan nähtävää, mutta näki millaista paikallisilla oli. Snorklausreissu oli mahtava. Siellä mäki monenmoista kalaa, hain ja kilpikonnan. Itsekseen snorklatessa näki myös kaloja, mutta vaihteli paikoittain. Pohjoispuolella, Water Villojen alkupäässä näki kaloja, myös laiturilta. Water Villoista 5-alkuiset ovat itäänpäin eli auringonnousuun. 6-alkuiset ovat auringonlaskuun päin.
