Aamiainen oli hotellin teemaan (Sport) sopivasti terveellinen ja monipuolinen. Lyhyt kävelymatka keskustaan. Hyvä ilmainen pysäköintipaikka hotellin lähellä. (Respa neuvoo). Pysäköintipaikalta pääsee suoraan 6.kerrokseen. Joten kannattaa pyytää huone ylemmistä kerroksista, myös näköalan vuoksi. Lähellä on myös hyvä juomakauppa (Garrafeira). Viiniä ym. juomia. Myös alkoholittomia. Kävele Hotellin viereistä katua vähän matkaa ylämäkeen. Siellä on myös joitakin ravintoilta, joita ei tullut testattua. Ravintolasuosituksia: Restaurante Sete (kani, coelho, oli todella hyvää), Montiel, Restaurante Portas Shaves. Varaa käteistä rahaa mukaan, sillä monessa paikassa Multi Banco (pankkikortti) ei toimi.

Through out our stay he gladly provided hidtory, local information and trip suggestions. The room was spacious, sparlingly clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was superb. Seldom have a had croissants so fresh that I needed to let them cool. I recommend without reservation.

We went for the Festa do Queijo and it was easy to walk to all of the events and literally just about everywhere in the town. It was only about a 10-15 minute walk from the bus station to the hotel so we never needed to call a taxi. The hotel also has a very nice hot tub and swimming pool which we used as well. It sure was nice to soak in the hot tub after a long day of walking, standing and tasting all of the local goodies!

The beds are amazingly soft, the aircons are great for the heatwave we are in right now. The pool is enough to take a dip and relax while having a drink from the bar. You also have a nice view. The breakfast buffet (in the weekends) are excellent. the food at the restaurant is wonderful and the staff are very friendly and very helpful with anything you may need. Clearly they know how to run a quality hotel and restaurant! Absolutely recommend this place!!
