The location itself was perfect to be able to do this. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised to find that it was even better than the pictures. The rooms were spacious and very inviting. We felt right at home. The staff were incredibly friendly and very helpful to our every wish.

Hotel la piscine has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and bar in Villers-sur-Mer. During our long first week-end trip with our 1,5 year toddler in a hotel, we were lucky to stay in a place where everybody feels welcome and can feel comfortable. The entire place was spotless clean so our little one could walk around without any issue. During 4 days we met great people, young and older couples, families. The owners and staff went above and beyond to help. This place is super inclusive and chill. We didn't use the pool but it looked perfect and the water was not cold at all ! There was also a sauna and petanque field. Games and books were available downstairs. All the time there was some good music playing on the terrace. We had dinner every night downstairs while our toddler was sleeping: tapas, amazing paella, tapas and planche, barbecue. And a new barman makes the most amazing, large and loaded cocktails. The bed was super comfortable and the apartment is well organised. The little kitchen came in handy. Everything was no nonsense but super comfortable into the details. This place is a hidden gem! Viihtyisä pikkukaupunki helmikuussa, kun turisteja ei vielä paljon ole. Historiasta kiinnostuneille oivallinen kohde, josta voi tehdä paljon retkiä mm. Normandian maihinnousun tapahtumapaikoille. Oma auto suositeltava, busseja rannoille ei pahemmin kulje. Itse kaupungissa pääsee kävellen kaikkialle.

Hotelli oli automatkailijan kannalta loistavalla paikalla. Suoraan hotellin edessä on edullinen parkkihalli (5-7€ per yö) ja muutenkin hotelli hyvällä paikalla Caenin nähtävyyksiä ajatellen. Hotellin siisteys ja huone ylittivät odotuksemme. Ranskalainen parveke oli plussaa. Caen toimi majapaikkanamme Normandian maihinnousupaikkoihin tutustumisellemme. Matkaa Omaha-beachille oli autolla noin puoli tuntia.

Hotelli oli todella siisti ja sijainti meille sopiva. Aamiainen oli herkullinen, kun saimme tuoretta patonkia / croisantteja yms. herkkuja kahvin kera. Henkilökunnalle arvosanaksi 10++! Loistavaa palvelua sekä omistajan pitämä opasretki Normandian rannikolle oli upea: huolella ja asiantuntevasti suunniteltu. Kiertoajelu läpi pienten kylien oli mahtava lisä opasretkelle! We loved our ocean facing room. Our second room was okay but across the building and down the hall. I was hoping to be closer to our second room (our kids are 8 and 13). We had to get 2 rooms because they didn’t have quads available. For Europe, the rooms were a good size. We were on the 6th floor and had a balcony off each room (please note they are lovely, but you can’t fit a chair on them like many balconies in Europe). Coffee was good and location is awesome. On the beach (you have to cross one road and you’re on the boardwalk). Every restaurant and cafe is walking s Distance and the Bac is just steps away. Beds were very comfortable. The older, stylish lady was lovely at every interaction at reception. She was very happy and helpful.

The property was beautiful. There were acres for walking and bike riding. Our garden room had outdoor seating. there were many indoor rooms for relaxing or drinking. The room was comfortable and well equipped. The breakfast was outstanding. It has everything you could want to eat. The staff was all friendly.
