Its not a typical chain hotel where everything is available 24/ 7 but honestly this also adds charm to its character. Property builds on heritage of the buildings giving it very genuine feel during the stay. They do facilitate dogs which in my case is a big winner ! Rooms are very clean and staff is extremely helpful and facilitating even if one comes late. Breakfast is fabulous.

Set within 29 km of Theme Museum Heide and 33 km of German Tank Museum, Hotel Villa Schneverdingen provides rooms in Schneverdingen. Nice building, comfortable beds, very clean overall. The yard was empty so we parked easily without searching for a parking space. We had to check-in very late and everything was arranged in advance perfectly and we had no issue entering the building and our room thanks to the clear instructions provided. The host was very quick to respond all our questions even in the middle of the night so truly appreciate that. There are several electric sockets on the yard where you can use for charging your EV. The sockets looked beefy, indeed, but because there was no information on amperage on any of them, I did not use it for charging. There is a fixed cost of 12 Euros if you want to use the sockets.

This guest house lies in a beautiful park in the village of Bothmer, 3 km from Schwarmstedt. Gästehaus Schloss Bothmer is 10 minutes from the A7 motorway and 35 minutes from Hanover. Everything was perfect. Fantastic welcome. Every guest was given VIP treatment. Mother and daughter were so kind and service minded. If I could give 11 , they would deserve it. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this guest house, also the food was great.

The entire atmosphere, ambience of the hotel is fabulous, speaks and smells history, all is very very tasteful. Food in the restaurant /dining - excellent, wine selection super.
