History Hostel ligger i Ouro Preto, 13 minuters promenad från Sao Francisco de Paula Church, och har en trädgård, rökfria rum, gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen och en gemensam lounge. The first thing that catches your attention is the receptiveness of the hosts, they make you feel at ease and give lots of tips about the city and restaurants. The room was extremely tidy and fragrant. Bathrooms were all clean and fragrant too. This Hostel is different, you feel at home. Not to mention that it is close to the main tourist attractions.

La Musica Hostel OuroPreto ligger i Ouro Preto, en kort bit från Inconfidencia Museum, och erbjuder utsikt över staden. Loved this place. The owner is super chilled and easy going, location is amazing for everything and close to the bus station. Views were beautiful. He was super helpful and nice in leaving our luggage and letting us stay and use facilities until our bus that night. Also can recommend places to go. Highly recommend.

Privat parkering erbjuds på begäran. - my bus rio-BH was 2 house late... so i missed the check in time. but hostel checked me in after hours (they came especially for that!). - that's a nice extra. - hostel agreed to change my check out day (i stayed only the first night out of 5 that i booked) and to return me the money difference. that was another extra, and i appreciate that.

A fabulous find! A very Bohemian pousada. Thiago's distinctive, colourful work adorns the walls and he couldn't have been more helpful and generous. His English is a little better than my Portuguese so we could have a good chat. He had a long term guest who spoke excellent English also.

I really appreciated the fact that this hostel is located in the middle of the city, but also feels very safe and well organized within the hostel walls. The hostel entrance is monitored by staff on a 24 hour basis. The hostel also provides lockers for guests to use. There are multiple bathrooms. The rooms are cleaned and beds changed on a regular basis. It really feels like a sancuary in the midst of a bustling city. Going forward, I expect that this will be my default option if I am looking for a bed in this location.
