The room was amazing and bed was very comfortable and shower was excellent! Breakfast was sensational, so much food and all of it brilliant with a great range of choices! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, they'd go above and beyond! Babosas is an amazing place to stay, we loved it!

We loved our Eco Shelter stay! It felt like a real escape. Lovely location, beautiful park and surroundings. The hut was perfect. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. We received a lovely welcome from Dioclecio, who was really friendly and great at communicating. If we visit Madeira again, we will definitely stay here :) Highly recommend. Thank you!

We had the most wonderful stay at the Mountain Eco Shelter. The location is beautiful - the lodges are in a beautiful Ecological Park full of plants and flowers. You can do hikes directly from the lodges. The lodges themselves have everything you need - a great kitchen, a comfortable bed and a balcony with a stunning view. The staff here are really friendly and helpful. There’s even a snackbar down the road where you can grab dinner & drinks. We loved every minute of our stay here and we are already planning to come back again.

Lovely cabin surrounded by mountain views, we saw so many stars at night. There's a great place to eat and drink (O Barracão), just 10 mins walk from the cabin, and it's only 20 minutes drive from Funchal (we had a rental car, but I believe there's a bus stop nearby too). It felt like a little home away from home, bed was very comfortable, shower was excellent and the little kitchenette had a stove top, microwave, kettle, coffee machine and fridge. Our host was wonderful, very welcoming and gave us lots of recommendations. I would definitely stay here again!

The place is great, everything you might need is there. Even more than expected. Impeccable interior, spacious room, comfort, jacuzzi, grill, beautiful ocean views and even a mini-garden. Also, there is an opportunity to visit the botanical garden nearby. You feel as if you have come to friends who were really waiting for you and were glad for your arrival. The owner is always in touch and ready to help any issue, also to give advice. Separate shout-out to Alicia - she is super manager! She is always there for you. Overall you will feel welcomed here.
