The Santo Mauro, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Madrid is situated close to Madrid’s Paseo de la Castellana. Free WiFi is available in all areas. Beautiful hotel, property and excellent staff. We loved the decor, the focus on details and the outside grounds (despite the cool weather during our visit). The bar (with local cocktail) was a highlight. We had a nightcap each night of our stay. The breakfast room (library) was amazing too.

Set in a charming historical building, Hotel Sardinero Madrid is located in central Madrid’s Alonso Martínez Square. It offers stylish, air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi. Beautiful surround windows in room gave a wonderful view of the city. Quiet at night. Many amenities in bathroom. complimentary water was nice. Breakfast was great.

Also important to us was the location close to public transport, including Alonso Martinez metro station which is served by 3 metro lines giving easy access to the main tourist areas. We stayed a weekend but wished it was longer.
