It has a great location and vibe, and we were not sure what the atmosphere around the hotel would be like since it seems a bit industrial but it is not a "cold" atmosphere at all - so much life on the river and perfect in the summer! Many plants and nice landscaping near the hotel (and the trees inside the hotel!!) made it magical. The view from the room was so special, and so worth it. Also loved the hotel decor, the lobby has the coolest classic "italian fine furnishing" and/or "classic modern" kind of style that is really unique I think. I like the neutral color scheme. I read reviews that people complained that the decor is outdated and needs refurbishing but I would have to disagree - ok maybe a couple sofas could be replaced but otherwise everything is in perfect condition. Do people really expect everything brand new? The room I did not find outdated, I rather liked everything as it was. I also like how the hotel is so sunny, even on rainy days it feels sunny, it gets so much sunlight because of the glass ceiling. ALSO - the staff was so nice, gave us umbrellas when it was raining!
