Featuring an outdoor pool with panoramic views over Lake Maggiore, this elegant Villa enjoys a privileged location above Locarno. - located a little far away from the center enough to enjoy some peace and quiet - incredible reception by the staff with a great tour around the hotel upon our arrival - an upgrade that was incredibly generous - breakfast was delicious and a huge thank you to mr Francois for his huge help and hospitality - the views from the room were amazing - most amenities including the shower, fridge and oven are more than what you need - marvellous jacuzzi to enjoy

Situated on the edge of Locarno, Hotel Stella SA provides panoramic views of Lake Maggiore and comes with a restaurant serving Swiss and international cuisine. Breathtaking view, comfortable room, supportive and kind staff (they catered all our needs with a smile), outstanding breakfast (optionw for all tastes including healthy, which is rare in IT) and great location. There's a beautiful and refreshing pool either. All one needs on the heat of the summer. The playground is also a great thing, our daughter loved it.

Set on a hill above Locarno, the La Barca Blu overlooks Lake Maggiore and is a 5-minute walk from the funicular to Locarno. Free WiFi is available. All rooms feature a balcony or a terrace. The staff were very helpful, especially with the bus system. The walk down from the hotel to the lake was entertaining in and of itself. The room was comfortable and breakfast was good.

Well equipped quaint cottage with a magnificent view of the lake, good parking close by. Extremely friendly and helpful host who prepared delicious extensive breakfast. Nice interior, prosecco and pastry as welcome. Lovely little village located up the mountain above Lago Maggiore. The loggia where we could sit and sip wine was a hidden gem.

The place itself is very nice with a breathtaking view, lots of space and a very nice indoor pool. The hosts were very kind and friendly, they picked me up at the station since I arrived late.
