Situated on the edge of Locarno, Hotel Stella SA provides panoramic views of Lake Maggiore and comes with a restaurant serving Swiss and international cuisine. The area where the hotel is located is simply amazing. I had a room with a view on the mountains, the lake and the city, and just being there felt very peaceful. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel, which takes you to the city centre in less than 15 minutes. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The bed and the pillows in the room were very good and comfortable - perfect for a good night's rest. The rooms and the entire property are very clean.

Set on a hill above Locarno, the La Barca Blu overlooks Lake Maggiore and is a 5-minute walk from the funicular to Locarno. Free WiFi is available. All rooms feature a balcony or a terrace. The staff were very helpful, especially with the bus system. The walk down from the hotel to the lake was entertaining in and of itself. The room was comfortable and breakfast was good.

Well equipped quaint cottage with a magnificent view of the lake, good parking close by. Extremely friendly and helpful host who prepared delicious extensive breakfast. Nice interior, prosecco and pastry as welcome. Lovely little village located up the mountain above Lago Maggiore. The loggia where we could sit and sip wine was a hidden gem.
