Customer service was great. We had a slight misunderstanding over breakfast not being included in our stay - was solved quickly. Thanks :)

People were very friendly/helpful and the place looked very nice with nice décor. Bed was super nice and comfortable and the cleaning was done every day impeccably. Common kitchen space was a very nice/useful space.
Second time we stayed here, in Porto room and it was awesome, super pretty the room.

Setubal is not a big city but it is quite lively. There are plenty of restaurants and bars and a lot to explore. The tourist information is great for advice and bookings. It is recommended to visit the national park, the Troia peninsula is good for a stroll and dolphin watching is great.

There is a variety of activities here.
There is a variety of activities here. Parts of the city are in decline, common in many Portugal cities, but likewise there are other areas that are very nice. We are seniors, 67 yo, and we walked everywhere, even at night, to restaurants, and felt quite safe. The main area of Avenida Luiza Todi has many shops, cafes, bars and restaurants with a variety of cuisines. Nice grocery Pingo Doce right there. Very helpful Tourism Office. There are a couple Museums, working waterfront, and a linear park through the center of the city with cafes, sculptures, benches and fountains. Some wonderful plazas and squares.
A short drive to a beautiful beach, and a mountaintop National Park, with hiking and fantastic views. We drove over this and visited wineries to taste wine. A very nice area less hectic than some areas of Lisbon, just 1/2 hour away.
Setùbal has an absolutely amazing public market on the Avenida Luiza Todi. We were only here for three nights, but could have found more to do with a longer visit.

I stayed three nights and that was perfect length to do a trip outside and see the city and castle and try some fresh grilled fish on the restaurants. Go to Setubal to experience a little rough side of Portugal for budget travellers it is also less expensive than many other cities in Portugal. For golfers stay in Setubal, Troia Island were very sleepy after 18.00.

I must admit, I'm torn between sharing the secret of Setúbal's beauty and wanting to keep this gem all to myself. The stunning beaches, delectable food, breathtaking views, and warm-hearted locals are like treasures I'd like to hoard. However, if you decide to visit Setúbal, just savor the experience as I do every time I'm there, and you'll understand why I'm so reluctant to let go of this hidden paradise.

Check was really easy.
Check was really easy. Entrance hall is nice but room lacked some soul- no pictures or colour etc. Shower was tired but it was clean. Slightly out of town, and up a hill, we were fine as fit bit disabilities might struggle. It did the job as it was a 1 night stop off.

Anyone driving to Setubal needs to know that they have recently introduced a zonal parking system and there is little long stay parking available.
Apart from this we found Setubal to be a beautiful City with loads of lovely parks, riverside promenades, narrow streets with plenty of small squares and a surprising amount of street entertainment, including fire-eaters. On top of this the nearby Beaches are outstanding
Rita saved us from disaster! We had booked another hotel which SAID they took dogs, until we arrived. They would not refund! Had to find accoms nearby. What a pleasant surprise! The Falcoaria's rooms are like mountain cabins, completely furnished for self-catering. Rita has thought of everything, and we were very comfortable, as was our little dog.
Fascinating to tour the bird sanctuary as well. Owls! Pigeons! Hawks! Falcons! So beautiful.
Had we known about this place, we would have stayed longer and chosen it first.
This was one of my favorite hotels during two weeks in Portugal. It is in an old building in an excellent location, but it is fresh and modern and comfortable in every way. It is on a busy street, but quiet. The breakfast couldn’t have been better. The staff was very accommodating. We arrived welll before check-in time and could store our bags. We also left our bags for hours the next day, and staff was lovely about it. They all speak excellent English, know Setubal well, and are professional in every way.
I can't find enough superlatives to describe our stay here. The hosts are warm, welcoming and helpful, but not intrusive. The bungalow was comfortable, private and incredibly clean. The property itself is beautiful and in a beautiful setting. It's a little hard to find, but that's part of its appeal - it's private and secluded, but just a few minutes from the city of Setúbal and less than an hour from Lisbon. I wholeheartedly recommend Casal das Oliveiras and hope I can return one day.
Great location, cute clean apartment. Wonderful hosts - responsive and helpful with an immediate check in request. I had originally booked another place and when I arrived there I didn't feel safe staying. Setúbal CityCenter Studios was very helpful in getting me checked in within an hour of my booking. I was very happy with the level of cleanliness, comfort of the bed and the vibes in general. Would definitely book again.
The view is stunning. Room is spacious and has everything you need plus a balcony to step out on. Breakfast was ample and a fair price, and you could get coffee or tea any time of day, with no charge.
The staff was wonderful, and very helpful, giving a little history of Setubal and recommending restaurants.
Parking underneath was easy. If you wanted, you could walk down the hill to the center ~ about 15-20 minutes.
We stayed here for a month and loved it. It’s a beautiful flat with a great design, very comfortable and right in the center of Setúbal. We had a cleaner coming every week which was great. It’s a perfect option if you’re looking to stay outside of Lisbon and closer to the beach. There’s a boat that can take you straight to Troia. The owner was very kind and super responsive (that’s a big plus).
The place is absolutely stunning - bonus for having an AC. Close to the train station - perfect location close to numerous restaurants and extremely close to the ferry if you're thinking of heading into Trioa! In Setubal itself you have the option of walking to the beach or taking the bus - all very doable! Location is just amazing!
The room was very comfortable with both a sitting area inside and a balcony overlooking the vineyard. The queen canopy bed was extremely comfortable with excellent pillows and linens. I also enjoyed the claw foot soaking tub in the very large bathroom. This room and hotel exceeded my expectations.
It is a boutique hotel, well-situated in the center of Setubal, with decor that appeals. It was VERY clean and beds were comfortable. The breakfast offered lots of choice and was of very good quality. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place to friends.
Large villas with all facilities available (incl. breakfast delivery). Good restaurant for diner and nice outdoor bar with a beautiful view. Very friendly staff made our stay perfect!
Close to Setúbal to make a city trip and ability to hike or horse ride directly from the hotel.
Location is perfect to explore the town. Centrally located to the Market and the old town. Friendly front desk staff but....didn't go out of their way to be helpful. I'd label this as more of a "self service" hotel for guests that want to be entirely self-sufficient.
The hotel is exceptionally clean and comfortable with a beautiful outdoor patio. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. We arrived early but the staff made extra efforts to accommodate us. The property is very close to the airport. We highly recommend.
The location was great. Close enough to Lisbon to drive in, but also easy to take other day trips east. There were also many restaurants and cafes nearby. Our host was very helpful in answering all of our questions about the area and parking.
Everything was perfect! Great Hotel with great staff! Breakfast and dinner were really delicious!! It placed in very quite area. There lots of restaurants around! In Setubal is one of the greatest fish and seafood market!
We only stayed for one night as we were travelling through Portugal by train, and stopped here to go on a dolphin watching trip. Good hotel, easy check in, clean and the breakfast was good. Location is good.
The host, zluis, was very friendly and helpful. Even helped us carry our luggage to the room.
He recommended places to visit in Setubal and restaurants.
There is a shared kitchen in the premises.
Really comfortable and clean apartment with a nespresso coffee machine. Lovely big bathroom. The nicest accommodation i stayed in on my trip to portugal! Would happily stay here again!
