We had a great time at Alpine Cottage. Someone wrote a weird review saying that the room was not clean and we could not disagree more. The host goes out of her way to ensure everything is spotless every morning, and even asked us if we wanted our room cleaned in the morning while we were out. Both dining room, kitchen, room and staircase are constantly in great condition. So don’t trust every review you see, especially when the majority says this place is a gem.
We absolutely loved the fresh flowers the host placed around the room and the dining area, they make such a big difference and brighten up the place even more.
We asked if we could receive vegan options for breakfast and we got some delicious vegan food every morning, so we much appreciated her efforts
to make sure our stay was comfortable and satisfying.
Beds also very comfortable.
Highly recommended!

It's a busy little town, plenty places to eat or get take away food, beautiful country walks, some specialist shops and lots of outdoor activities and attractions. It
has a great caravan park with lodges and glamping pods and fishing on the river. Caithness Glass has a viewing gallery to see glassblowing and is located at the visitor centre. Drummond Castle and gardens is a must, not far out of town at Muthill.

A busy town on the outskirts of the highlands.
A busy town on the outskirts of the highlands. It is close enough to the high mountains which many will be keen to explore. There were plenty of places to eat; I chose an Italian and was not disappointed. Crieff itself is small enough to be explore on foot; the Glen Turret distillery is a short 20-minute walk from the centre of the town.

Crieff itself is 4 out of 5.
Crieff itself is 4 out of 5. A number of boarded up shops (but this seems to be prevalent everywhere). However, on the plus side, traffic flows very well, the people are friendly and helpful and there is a good diverse range of shops available. Parking is easy. The greatest attribute is the beautful surrounding area. I'd recommend staying out of town to ge the best experience.

Small town with a ton or outside activities.
Small town with a ton or outside activities. Loads of hiking trails, nice golf course right next to town, most everything is in walking distance. The distillery has a beautiful bar but food is quite pricy. Ate at KBs Italian restaurant for dinner - delicious! Love the town and the residents!

We were in Crieff to take part in an organised classic car rally from Perth to Glencoe and back. Crieff was perfectly placed for that. Set in beautiful Perthshire countryside with easy access to everywhere really. The town itself is pleasant.
Lovely lower apartment in town Centre of Crieff. Comfortable and cosy, and an ideal base for exploring the town. Everything thought of for our stay, well equipped kitchen, and loved being able to adapt the bed layout before our arrival. Plenty of space too which when traveling with a teenager is a must. Also liked the home entertainment system, although did take a bit of getting a hang on the lighting, we had a bit of disco working it out.
Hosts were excellent, very good communication before and during and after our stay.
price quality ratio seems quite good to me.
restaurant tips (not directly related to apartment, but generally good to know to enjoy Crieff)

for small children, there is a fantastic playground with water sprays, several play areas and a small cafeteria at close walking distance in the MacRosty park. This entertained our two children (2 and 4) to no end for two days, and would have been quite ok for several days more.
We loved the location and the lodge was so cosy and comfortable for us all. Spectacular views of the loch and the mountains with their dusting of snow made it special.
The lodge was very well equipped had plenty of dishes, glasses and very comfy bedding. Beautiful Perthshire water on tap.
Hot tub maintained every day by owner.
The dog park was an added bonus for 2 lively labradors.
We will be back.
Thanks Wallace
Great location, really quiet but not too far from the town centre. The apartment had everything you could possibly need and more. The communication from the owners was fantastic. They supplied all the information on restaurants and places to visit.
The welcome pack was exceptional. It was very much appreciated.
If I ever visit this area again, I would want to stay here.
Great dog friendly option although comes at cost but nice touch with doggy welcome pack. Rooms have everything you need including Nespresso machine, would have liked more choice of pods. Breakfast cooked to order and good choice of continental to help yourself. Bar area lovely for eating with dog. Staff all lovely and accommodating. Enjoyable overall
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, even wished I was staying for more than one night! The hosts were lovely, and incredibly welcoming. The room was huge and had everything you could ever need. The bed was extremely comfortable. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone requiring somewhere to stay in the area.
This is a great wee property with everything you need for a stay in the Crieff area. Cosy sitting room, comfortable beds with en suite facilities & a well equipped kitchen. Centrally situated for eating out & car parking at the rear. Would recommend for couples, families & groups of friends.
I liked the room it was the largest one , the bed was very comfy , the situation of the apartment was good , the owners and staff were very nice and helpful , it was a very dog friendly place , with a good outdoor area to let the dogs out , the Xmas lunch was excellent
Location was perfect, walking distance to the adorable village of Crieff. Innkeeper was exceptional - funny, kind, and helpful in making reservations, offering directions, and suggesting site-seeing stops. Whiskey carafe in the room was the above and beyond.
Amazingly comfortable bed, beautiful view from the room, sweet little sitting area inside the room set up with tea service. Jean was such a lovely hostess; very kind and friendly. We very much enjoyed chatting with her over a delicious breakfast.
There is not one thing that could have been better with our stay @ Fir Tree. Without question we’d stay there again. The walking in the area was exceptional. The meals and the Italian restaurant in-town and modern restaurant on the square superb!
Lovely Perthshire village with nice surrounding countryside for walks.
