Haus Winkelchen is a holiday home/apartment featuring a garden, situated in Cochem. The property boasts views of the mountain and is 1.1 km from Cochem Castle.

We thought the house looked cute on the photographs but it completely exceeded our expectations. Spacious, comfortable, located a short bus-ride (three stops?) from the more tourist-filled Cochem - just a perfect place to kick back and relax. There's a great baker nearby for those delicious German rolls and cakes (Café Fuhrmann) and a supermarket a few minutes' walk away. It was also great having access to a washing-machine for a mid-holiday laundry session! The host, Julia, was incredibly accommodating in letting us arrive early and was really friendly when she popped round to pick up the payment. It's clear she loves the house as much as anyone who stays there would. We were there at the time of the 'Plum Festival' so also table to enjoy dome live music and try out the local wines. Cochem is also really well-located for getting up and down the Mosel and on local transport - we did some great walks in the area.

Just 400 metres from the Moselle River and offering scenic views of the countryside and of the castle, this holiday home is centrally located in Cochem.

We were two families there (4 person each family). The host were super friendly. The house is clean and modern furnished. The place is super comfortable, it is in the center and near the castle, so you don't need to use your car at all! The center is within walking distance. It's high recommendable.
