We stayed for one day. The location was near to our visiting place, 2km away from Peddem Indoor Stadium. Breakfast had no variety. Spice Goa, a quality restaurant for sea food is just half km, walkable distance.

Mapusa is a rapidly growing tier 2 city in the heart of Goa and the erstwhile capital of Bardez, the upper half of the State. Home to the Bahmonns and a lot more wildlife. Proceed with caution :).
The city is not a popular tourist spot, but a key hub for bus transit to the hundreds of beachside resorts close by. From a footfall perspective, Pednem and Mopa are the new action points. However, growing consumption from local travelers results in enhanced business activities in this city.

Mapusa is good if you want to be a bit far from the hustle bustle of the beach & tourist, yet you can drive down in 10-15 minutes. Also you are accessible to the highway so you ca go to Panaji or other places quickly.

Its good to stay @ Mapusa, easy access to Mapusa market & bus stand, you can move to Panjim, Pedne, Pona with lesser travelling cost from Mapusa bus stand & frequency is good. Beaches are very close & enjoying the trip. Foods, staying & locality is good experience.
This was the second time I booked at Vilena. It was a rags to riches kind of a situation, wherein we had just checked out of Ciiroc Morjim and moved here as we had our bus to Pune from Mapusa. The staff and the facilities were just so pleasant and heartwarming, unlike the experience we had in Ciiroc. The smile on the face of the staff made our no so good 5 days at Morjim vanish. The rooms were good and swanky clean.
Location was apt for travelling to different destinations.
Very friendly, obliging and accommodating hotel staff specially Brendon Mahesh Pooja and others whose names I dont remember (apologies). Special mention here and a thank you to Mr. Dominic (hope i got the name right) for the upgradation.
Even though we did not take the breakfast package the food ordered was very good.
My recent stay at SD Dsouza Heritage in a serene setting was a delightful experience. The rooms were immaculately clean and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The overall quality of service was exceptional, making for a truly top-notch experience. I am eagerly looking forward to returning to this wonderful hotel in the future.
very nice environment in a 200 years old Portuguese house, very good location to explore North Goa. The hotel is intimate and cozy The staff, nice and competent is making everything possible to please you. Excellent food, cooked fresh and ad-hoc by the chef.
Location of hotel is near the Mapsa bus stand which is good. The hotel in general is a low budget hotel which needs to be freshed up. Typically Indian city 1* star hotel we got a free upgrade from fan room to AC room so in a way we were satisfied.
The hosts were very welcoming and helpful- Cyrose helped a lot with directions, booking vehicles . The rooms are really clean- everything is well maintained. The beach is in walkable distance. I had a very pleasant stay!
Very clean and convenient place. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Situated right in the centre of Mapusa and just accross the intercity/state bus stand
