The staff were all lovely, especially Spyros who was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The view from the pool area is stunning and the restaurant food was amazing.
We stayed here before moving on to Ios. The location was perfect as it's close to the port but there are still things to do within walking distance, and it's easy to go to Fira as well

I loved how well the property manager communicated with us throughout our stay. He offered recommendations on where to visit and also checked up on us throughout the trip to make sure everything was good with our stay.

It was a beautiful villa with amazing views .
The staff were very friendly and helpful .
Breakfast was bought to your villa and you could enjoy the views and have it by the poolside.

You would definitely need a car here to be able to visit Oia and Fira easily. Also Kamari was actually our favourite place, had a lovely beach, shops and restaurants.
Megalokhori itself is very small village, it’s worth a little stroll down to. Also lovely homemade lemonade served in the little bar there.

Loved Megalochori: little beautiful village with its colorful houses, churches and little back alley streets. It was as if I was walking in a big painting or Theatre set. Met many friendly people; visited cozy restaurants and enjoyed tasty meals. Hope to visit many more times in future!

The property is absolutely immaculate!!
The property is absolutely immaculate!! Romantic & Relaxaing!!
Complimentary breakfast was excellent, too!!
Public Transportation not easily accessable - eventhough the bus stop is only a 3 minutes walk. The sidewalk isn't user friendly - very Narrow & lots of outgrown weeds. You can take a bus to Fira from that bus stop - just do it in the morning - at night that area isn't walkable - from Megalochori to Fira is only 1,60 euros. However, from Fira took Uber back to hotel is about 36 Euros! After you arrived Fira bus station, you can take another bus to Oia for another 1,60 euros.
We shouldn't have booked a split level room because there's a steep stairs to climb up to your bed :(

Megalochori is just a small village 5 kms south of the city centre Fira. It is less touristic and will suit people seeking for accommodation that is not so busy and hectic. It has some good restaurants and even a winery that sells fantastic red and rosè wine.

The village is very traditional and much less touristy than the other towns. There is a good selection of restaurants (7/8 maybe) and all of them are lovely, only 1 or 2 serve breakfast though. There are some lovely vineyards in the village too, some cooking classes and horse riding excursions. It's a small village so not huge amounts to do so more of a relaxing base from which to explore the Island. There was a small shop although the opening times were sporadic so we stocked up at the larger supermarkets just out of the village.
We hired a car to get around and there is free parking in the village, the island is very small so it only takes 40 minutes to get to the other side, I think the local busses call through too although we didn't use these.
We went with our 2-year-old who loved the local playground, although there were a lot of cobbles (as with all the villages) which made the buggy difficult.

This town was a great location on the island.
This town was a great location on the island. Not to close to the over touristed towns but easy access to them. The Town has everything you need, good restaurants, wineries and the best bakery in the island.
The view was absolutely beautiful, the apartment was in the perfect location for a stunning view of the Santorini sunset. It was very nicely done inside, we appreciated the fact it wasn't two single beds pushed together. Comfortable and stylishly done. A short walk to the shops and restaurants in Megalochori, which were lovely. Also close to the bus stop if you're going to travel into Thira and Oia. In the end we were having such a lovely time in Megalochori we just stayed and explored locally.
Location is in the middle on the island so max 10 min drive to anywhere
Cleanleness, new building & new furniture
Hospitality from host Demitrios and attention to details (Kitchenette equipments, glasses, wine opener, etc)
Smart TV
View was a breathtaking
Near by bakery is super nice
Available Parking is an advantage
A hint for all travelers, you will Definitely need a transport in Santorini so rent a small car or a quad bike
Relaying on public transport and taxi is not the best idea
We needed accommodation for our last night in the Cycladic islands and Grand View Megalochori served us perfectly! We were a bit skeptical about Santorini because we had experienced the hordes of tourists first hand and only visited because our flight departed from Santorini. Upon arrival we were surprised with an upgrade to a crater-view suite, and this place is just out of this world. The view is magical and you really do not need to leave the place. 10/10
The breakfast was very fresh and was always on time. The staff was very helpful and extremally friendly with lots of knowledge and useful information of Santorini. The location is close to the 3 main things you want, the best beach, airport and the capital city Fira. So you can visit them all when you want, or stay in Alti and enjoy the peace and quiet :) shoutout to Mr Konstantinos who was a pleasure to meet and helped us with everything we needed.
The whole experience was absolutley incredible. Our first break away since having children and wqs the most beautifull scenic place ive ever seen in my life. We fell in love with everything about santorini and athermi suites was a huge part of that. Never recieved customer service to the standards these deliver. The food from this hotel is just wow! Well be returning next year 100% 🙌 Thank to the whole team for me this an incredible trip
Super happy with our stay here! The location is great in the middle of a traditional village next to a blue dome. There were many restaurants nearby, but still quiet.
The hotel is brand new, the suite was stunning with very nice decoration.
The staff was amazing and super helpful. A very warm welcome! They literally arranged everything for us!
Really good breakfast!
Relaxing at the private jacuzzi was the cherry on top!
Everything was great! Since the warm welcome to the facilities (news, clean and comfortables). Vasia gave us many suggestions and she know perfectly the island and she's always available! Moreover the position is very good, 10 minutes from Fira (so in a peaceful area) and between 10 and 20 minutes from the best beaches.
We'll recommended this hotel to our friends and we'll certainly come back!
Amazing stay, can not fault this hotel! Best views, amazing food ( your chefs are amazing) , only 15 min or so to fira but so much nicer staying in a quiter area, minimarket still close by, 5-10 min walk , restaurants in the local town close by. Staff so friendly, helpful. Shout out to Micheal the barman, always happy and smiling and helping. Will always stay here!!
The rooms were very clean and we had a pleasant stay at the Villa. The breakfast was great. The hosts Andra and Marios were very welcoming and the hospitable was commendable.
The sunset view was amazing. If you are on a vacation in Santorini to capture the sunset view, then I definitely recommend this Villa instead of the overly crowded Oia.
Place was amazing , we love every second of our stay. Staff was the best . all our 100 question was answered.
They make our stay there unique . We needed a Scooter for our stay and they arrange all. Definitely best place to spend time In Santorini.
Best regards from Goran and Zeljka
Hotel was at a great location. You want to go to a location where you can enjoy the surrounding and Relax. Artemis provided us that. Everyone in the staff was very helpful. We got personal touch during the stay. Definitely will recommend the place to everyone.
The hotel has a magnificent view on the Caldera and is located a few minutes walk from the very characteristic and quiet town of Megalochori. The terrace with view is shared, however there are only a few rooms in the complex so it is very relaxed.
The hotel was a good place to stay as well as being relatively close to the port. A choice of good tavernas within walking distance . Pleasant grounds and pool. We were staying one night in Santorini and it suited us perfectly.
Wonderful views, massive pool great amenities available, remote location, great AC but still close to city centers across the island!
Service was unbelievable, like better than any 5 star hotel I’ve ever been to in the U.S.
Lovely quiet location tucked away down some little streets. The outdoor terrace areas were beautiful. Megalokhori is a hidden gem in santorini so this property was great value for money.
Thanks to the brilliant design; this hotel gives you a unique old heritage experience, that cannot be found in any other hotel.
Hotel staff was exceptionally great, specially Mr. Tasos.
