Perfect stay. We were attending a wedding nearby & before we’d even arrived we were helped with information on taxis etc. When we were greeted we were shown the facilities & were surprised at how much was complimentary. There are delicious cordials, crisps, chocolate & homemade cake, which was perfect when we got back after the wedding & felt a little “jaded”. We also had a recommendation of The Boat (within walking distance) for a light bite which was lovely. The room was so well equipped & the bed large & comfy. Breakfast was served to the room in a hamper & was plentiful. Before we left we had a lovely stroll along the canal. Loved it so much we’ve already booked to come back & stay longer.

The hotel has impressive views of the race track if you book a king track room. Breakfast was lovely. Staff pleasant. Resteraunt over priced and not much to do there in the evenings entertainment wise.

Stayed in Towcester - an area I knew well as we had lived close by 20 years ago. We were reuniting with old friends for a night out so The Saracen’s was well located.
It is an old coaching inn which has been refurbished over the years and was very welcoming. Our room was small but ok but we had problems with the bathroom ( shower leaked and flooded the floor), comfortable enough for a one night stay.

The place is in Stoke Bruerne, about 3 miles from Towcester.
The place is in Stoke Bruerne, about 3 miles from Towcester. It is right on the banks of the canal and the museum. Boat rides can be taken from just outside the back gate. Lovely walks along the tow paths. Two local pubs within a couple of minutes walk, which are fine and a good Indian restaurant although we ate in Towcester itself, which was a five minute drive. Very good.

that can be found in coventry or daventry.
This hotel was ideal for my stopover, with a few hours to spare in the afternoon and evening. A good value stay in a historic building and small town. The area has several other characterful pubs (such as the brewery in the old mill on the river), and meadow walks. There was free parking in the rear car park, though it looked as though it was going to fill up.
The room was clean and characterful, and the bed comfortable (though I personally found the duvet a bit too warm for mid-May).
A very nice hotel, situated in easy walking distance of local shops, pubs and restaurants. Free parking, great breakfast. My room was a decent size with a good en suite bathroom. The restaurant and bar were pleasant and not too busy, although I only stayed on a Monday night. The price I paid was very good value for money compared to what I would have paid to stay in a city centre hotel. The staff were all polite and helpful.
The location was excellent, next to the circuit. We were there for the classic M.G / Triumph weekend. The room was fine, the front of house staff were fine, particually the bar manager who seemed to be doing everything in his power to please all the guests. There was also a second gentleman who also simply worked his socks off, at front of house / reception to the bar area, both of these men were exceptional.
That it felt like I was coming home to a great space that was relaxing after a days work. When you’re working away from home to come stay somewhere that feels like a home makes such a difference.
I normally stay at the hotel that’s at the Silverstone circuit but this was the best find and just 10 minutes away. I will definitely stay again.
I stayed overnight during a race weekend whilst I was racing on the International circuit. The convenience of being able to go back to your hotel room between races and relax or have a shower was priceless! There is also a lovely restaurant and bar overlooking the start/finish straight. Perfect for race fans and drivers.
As I arrived I was greeted by the host and shown around the spacious luxury accommodation. I was told I was the only one staying. I settled in for the evening and was highly impressed with what was left for breakfast, the living room was beyond comfortable. The bedrooms were large and clean.
Exceptional hosting, nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant food was excellent and the continental breakfast was basic but adequate. Rooms immaculately clean and the hotel is in a lovely location. Will definitely return again.
Location is AMAZING right on the track you can relax on the terrace area of the bar great food great service friendly staff. Rooms cleaned to a superb standard. Get a track facing room with balcony - you won’t regret it!
The Saracens Head Hotel in Towcester offers an exceptional experience. With its great location, delicious food, and excellent service, it provides great value for money. I highly recommend it for a memorable stay.
Only slept there one night, didn't use any other facilities or breakfast. However it's a nice new hotel and the rooms were very nice. View over the circuit was a bonus. Value for money I'd say is very good.
The location was chosen as we were visiting the Silverstone Circuit the next day.
Food was good which we ate in our room.
The room and bathroom were comfortable however no hand soap was provided!!
Super quiet location, but very quick into Towcester if you needed and very close to Whittlebury Hall which is where I was working. Very comfortable and large room with good bathroom and kitchen.
Excepcional staff, very clean and comfortable room, very spacious. The village location is perfect for a good rest and the food from the pub is lovely. Would return for sure!
The hotel room was lovely - the best part of it was the balcony overlooking the race track and the room had air con which was needed given the weekend was 24Plus degrees.
