What a great weekend in a delightful venue. Great Hotel with all you need right on hand. The Hotel is split into Bar and restaurant next door with the accommodation through a separate door. Lovely room, good facilities and very clean with tea, coffee biscuits, water in a mini fridge. Great view and giant bed and TV. Restaurant next door was excellent and the food was amazing. Breakfast, well what a delight, great produce and a great variety of continental and cooked and plenty of it. So much that we did not need to eat all day again until late Dinner which again was delicious. Very friendly and attentive staff and what a great atmosphere in the bar during the day.

The walks in this part of the country are stunning as are the beaches if you get the weather! And there's never a shortage of good places to eat. If you have a furry friend, the majority of the shops and restaurants are pet friendly.

Anstruther is a lovely and lively little town in the beautiful East Neuk of Fife. It has a very picturesque harbour, good eating places, including the wonderful and award-winning Anstruther Fish Bar, a number of interesting shops and a well-stocked Co-op. It is within easy reach of other lovely little East Neuk towns/villages, including St Monans, Pittenweem and Crail, and the university town of St Andrews, which is a must for visitors to the area. The RNLI shop at Anstruther harbour has a really good selection of little presents to take home to loved ones, including the iconic yellow wellies for little feet!

Anstruther is a beautiful town, but can be very busy in summer months.
Great for a walking holiday along Fife coastal path but it is not mobility scooter friendly with narrow pavements and no dropped kerbs.
Great selection of fish and chip shops and small cafes.

The cottage was in a great position for a view of Anstruther and a 5min drive to the seaside front was ideal.
Anstruther is a great fishing village, with plenty of cafes and restaurants for all needs, with easy access and parking along the front, with a 5min drive either way to other quaint fishing villages.
Haddock & chips was perfect. ;)
Close to the harbour in Anstruther, spacious and well-equipped, and the outside seating area is a bonus (if it isn’t raining). The house has lots of children’s books and games, which we didn’t use but would be great for a family with younger children. The kitchen was well-equipped and the TV and Wi-Fi worked very well. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were clean, and the showers worked well. The Dreel Tavern across the road is a great location for dinner.
I had a couple of queries before the trip and these were answered really quickly. The apartment is well equipped and very clean. The beds are lovely and comfortable. We absolutely loved the location. Anstruther is beautiful and is central to a lot of local sites as well as a good starting part to go further afield. There is also a play park just outside the apartment. We very much appreciated the welcome tray. Thank you for a lovely stay ☺️
I rate this B&B very highly. One's comfortable bedroom looks out to the sea, and there is a sitting room for guests with a wonderful balcony which looks out to the sea, too. Breakfast included fresh fruit and breads and anything else in a Scottish breakfast one would want. Restaurants and shops in Anstruther are within walking distance, (no more than a half-mile), as are bus stops. The hosts are warm and friendly and fun to chat with.
Absolutely everything. Last minute booking managed to get a room for New Years Eve.
Location was amazing. Very quite rooms at the back and stunning harbour at the front. Frequent visitor to Anstruther but first time staying at the Waterfront. Will definitely stay again. Unfortunately didn't get booked into restaurant for meal. Was booked out. Good sign. Breakfast was amazing also. Couldn't fault it.
The Royal Hotel was suitable for our needs, it is an old building so you don't expect the rooms to be very big. There was everything we needed for our stay, Tea/coffee in the room, shower, towels and a double bed. Breakfast was very nice and the staff were very pleasant. Good value for the price we paid.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend this hotel. It is in an ideal spot with sea views and central to Crail amenities. Dinners and breakfasts were excellent. We will be back. Room was exceptional.
Very friendly manageress who was very helpful and welcoming. There were a few minor issues but nothing significant. The breakfast was definitely to my liking. I really enjoyed my visit to Anstruther and my stay in the Royal Hotel.
This is a fab flat. Located in a quiet area but 5 minutes from bustling Anstruther. Flat was well equipped, fresh, clean and all mid cons, beds awfy comfy. Eye catching frontal and easy access to the beautiful East Neuk of Fife.
ideally located, Brackness House is prefect for exploring Fife. Robert and Catriona were excellent hosts and very knowledgeable about the area. The big Scottish breakfast and the showers were fantastic!
Cleanliness and location were perfect for us. Close to the beautiful coastal path and also local restaurants and grocery store. Multiple golf courses nearby and a short scenic drive to Saint Andrews.
The Bank is a lovely hotel. Our room was attractive with a beautiful sea view , everyone is friendly and helpful , our breakfast and the meals in the restaurant were excellent. Highly recommended.
Excellent breakfast. Room was clean. Nice location in Anstruther. We were able to walk to a delicious dinner at The Cellar - highly recommend. The breakfast servers were very nice and pleasant.
it was very high end in terms of linens bathroom facilities a nice garden and 5 minutes away. from Anstruther the.breakfast was outstanding and the owner very obliging and excellent attitude
Very comfortable, spacious and well-appointed accommodation with lovely water-facing views, perfectly situated within the town of Anstruther. Friendly staff made us feel quite at home.
Beautifully decorated and furnished cottage. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Good location for walking into Anstruther. Everything was provided you could want.
For the price we paid this hotel was just perfect. It was clean, nice and in front of the sea.
Communication was excellent, didn’t have to wait for the reply.
Little Acorn is a beautiful apartment, very modern, it was like home from home. Location was great to 10 min walk into Anstruther harbour definitely a 10/10
