We recently had the pleasure of staying at Tongo Hills Cottages, and were blown away by this hidden gem. From the incredible mountain views to the warm hospitality (Zenia, Rosalie, Ate Marcel, the owners-Caroline...everyone!), our time at Tongo exceeded every expectation. We stayed in one of the cozy bahay kubos 'Adelfa', which featured beautiful native hardwood details, bamboo decor, and luxurious modern amenities like WiFi and hot shower. The room was spotless and the beds were surprisingly comfortable despite being small (my partner is Dutch). We also loved the cute attention to detail and add ons like: locally-made soap&shampoo bars, movie & bonfire nights.

Amazing location to immerse yourself in the Philippines nature. Our hosts were the most kind and helpful people we ever had the pleasure to stay with. We felt like staying with friends, who had all the local knowledge and tips for activities/food around the area. We really appreciated the amazing vegan option for breakfast as well. Special mention to local dogs, cats and geckos for the warm welcome as well!

Lage: Super! 2-3 Gehminuten von Hauptstrasse weg. 3-4 Gehminuten vom Meer weg. Trotzdem schön ruhig.😊 Tipp Anreise: Beim Tattooshop links. Anlage: Schön gepflegt, wie auf den Bildern. Zimmer: Geräumig, sauber. Ventilator und Klimaanlage vorhanden. Unsere Empfehlung: Nachttischlampen wären toll. Aber für den Preis ist die Preis-Leistung top! Gastgeber: Sympathisch, unkompliziert, wenn wir etwas gebraucht haben, hat er es gleich organisiert. Super per Whatsapp zu erreichen😊

very clean, great location, great value for money, spacious, helpful staff. it’s a real divers lodge since we have space outside with racks and hangers to dry diving gear. very close to the beach and huge parking spot. had access to pool but never used it since I was always on the beach. and for people complaining about centipedes , you are in a remote location you should expect insects. some centipedes come in at night . just tap them with tissue and they roll up and then pick them up and drop them in the garden outside
