My dad & I had a wonderful stay in the lovely chalet. It had everything we needed and more. Very cosy, very clean. The apartment is very comfortable: big kitchen with dining area, bathroom with a shower and a very spacious room with king size bed and sitting area, completed by a balcony with an amazing view to a small river that crosses the backyard between the fir trees, with the mountains on the background! All the apartment was fully equipped, we found there everything that we needed, and what we didn't - a socket adapter - the host was kind enough to borrow one to us. Everything was very clean and, believe me, I am very picky and still I found nothing dirty or dusty. The bed sheets and towels also clean and comfortable, as well as the bed and pillows. Kandersteg is a lovely town with plenty of restaurants and shops of all kinds. We traveled by car and from this location we were able to go to Furkapass, Interlaken, Thun and Berna, Brienz and Rothorn, Lauterbrunnen and Wengen, Grindelwald in about 1 hour.
