We loved our 2-night stay here. The house is comfortably sized for four, kitchen is well-equipped, there are clear instructions where needed. This is a family vacation home rather than just a tourist cottage, and it really felt like something special the owners were sharing with us.

Some units have a seating area and/or terrace.... Bardzo ładny domek, blisko Husavik. Można zrelaksowac się na tarasie podziwiając góry. Obiekt czysty, było wszystko co potrzebne. Ładna łazienka.

Vetursetur is a holiday home with a terrace, located in Aðaldalur. The property is 80 km from Akureyri and free private parking is provided. This cabin is not the most modern and chic but it felt so cosy and authentic. The lava formations around it were magical and it made for a great first base for us in Iceland and we stayed 2 nights - we really felt like we'd arrived somewhere really different. We love wildlife and were delighted to find a snipe on the porch on the first evening, loads of golden plover (including chicks), redwing and curlew. It was super cold when we arrived (weather obviously not the fault of the owner!) - about 4 degrees C in July, the wind was really going for it too - the small radiators were on and we quickly found the heater and were very cosy in no time. The bedrooms are very compact as is the bathroom but everything worked and was comfortable. We loved the inclusion of a good bean to cup coffee maker too. The location was excellent for days out in Husavik and Myvatn, we would have been happy to even have stayed a bit longer. It is off the beaten track, but the owner gave us super clear directions and we had no trouble finding it at all.

Spory parking przy obiekcie. Wisienką na torcie jest widok z okna/ tarasu! Absolutny must stay na trasie po północnej Islandii.

Obiekt Saltvík Farm Guesthouse położony jest 5 km od centrum miasta Húsavík i oferuje pokoje z widokiem na okoliczne góry oraz zatokę Skjálfandi. Spokojne miejsce na farmie, piękny widok. Ogólnodostępna kuchnia z lodówką dla gości. Chętnie bym wrócił na dluzszy pobyt.
