We arrived to San José late in the afternoon and before starting our Costa Rica trip we thought it would be nice to stay on night near the airport. We were welcomed by Joaquín who was nice enough to drive us to collect our rented car. Arriving to the property, you stay in his house together with his family, in a room next to the garden. Room was big, clean and even though it doesn't have AC, there is a great fan that does the trick. We had complimentary coffee and even a mini fridge with water. It was a perfect choice and Liliana and Joaquín are extremely nice and welcoming.

Perfekt beliggenhed ift lufthavn hvis man ankommer sent eller skal tidligt afsted. Ikke så meget at se i byen men en hyggelig plads med live musik da jeg var der.. Ikke specielt interessant ift spisning, men man tager ikke til cr for madens skyld!

Retfærdigvis må vi indrømme, at vi ikke var meget omkring, men det lod til at være en fin storbys forstad. For os var det et godt sted at "lande", leje bil, samt købe forsyninger og lidt elektronik, inden vi tog videre.
