We walked for dinner in the centre every night and it is just a short stroll away.

The facilities at the house were amazing - there was food and bottles of water ready for us to use, we were able to do washings (detergent was in the house), the bathroom was stacked with supplies and all rooms were provided with aircons. The house itself was really clean, and the location was perfect, everything was walking distance. Can't say anything else but great value for the money spent! Would definitely come back here.

Casa Madureira - Paraíso centenário do Douro ligger i Sabrosa, 6,1 km från Natur Waterpark och 30 km från Douro Museum, i ett område där man kan ägna sig åt vandring. Amazing house in a beautiful, small, old village! Everything was very clean and beautiful!

It is even better than in the pictures. The house is located in the middle of an athletic village, on the hill with grape wines and orange trees. A small church is nearby. The view can not be better. You can hear bells and roosters. We arrived late in the rainy evening. The owner was there to meet and greet us. He quickly showed us the property. We appreciated the little welcome touches like cookies and milk. No problem with the parking. And it is easy to get from the place to wineries and other local attractions.

Casa da Fonte ligger i Peso da Régua, 9,3 km från Douro Museum och 16 km från Natur Waterpark, och erbjuder utsikt över bergen. A lovely host with a lovely place. The place consists of 2 floors and a rooftop terrace with a barbique and seating corner. One sleeping room on the ground floor with a toilet, shower and washing machine. In the first floor a seating corner, kitchen, bedroom with a toilet. A nice check-in present with coffee capsules, bread and cookies and also home made wine! Smooth communication although I spoke English and the host Portuguese. You can find free parking very close to the place. Well recommended place!
