Hotel Santiago is located in Hendaye, just 3 km from the beach, and offers an outdoor swimming pool and a restaurant which is open for dinner. Free WiFi access is available. We were on our way to the Netherlands and were looking for a hotel for one night. Booked via internet and we were very surprised, friendly staff, good dinner, nice and clean rooms, very comfortable bed and slept very well. We are going to Spain again at the beginning of July and will see if we can go to this hotel. In the area opposite the station is a nice bar with friendly staff and good service. Had a special request regarding a tapas board and this was done without any objection.

First of all, I must mention the host, who is really an exceptional lady. She was so attentive, helped us with understanding the city - do and don'ts right upon arrival. She gave us recommendations of good local restaurants and shared many other tips. She prepared breakfast and was truly super nice just as a person, which impacts everything during such short-term stays. My husband and I felt very welcome and definitely recommend staying at "Bordeaux Cosy B&B." It's a very clean space, and you will have your own privacy.
