It exceeded all of our expectations, as always! The lovely old building and its beautiful setting, the wonderful breakfast, the gardens, the swimming pool... but above and beyond all of this are the warm and welcoming people who are at the heart of Les Carmes. They make you feel right at home. We were sorry to have missed Pascal this year, but Minna's and Marion's presence certainly made up for it. The apero à 19h was a success thanks to them. Great location along the bank of the river with an excellent view of Pont Valentré. We spent a lot of time on our balcony and enjoyed delicious meals on the terrace facing the river. The hotel restaurant and bar offer the best view in all of downtown Cahors, thus we had no desire to make dinner reservations elsewhere during our weekend stay.
