Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. We didn't realize that the spa was not included in the price and needed to pay for this each day (around 15 euros per person per day). Not a big deal but would be nice to know this ahead of time.
Generally, the staff was helpful and friendly. The apartment was located close the beach which was nice for walking in winter. The food was ok for the price. In general, it was good value for the price that we paid.

Everything was new and clean but a bit cheap, e.g. the doors, with not much style and no atmosphere to speak of. Breakfast was so full of people we had to stand in a queue in front of the huge restaurant. Loud disco music next to the reception when restaurant door was open.
Good price for accommodation 150m from the beach. Very good breakfast with great choice, from fruits to meats and salads. Comfortable beds, very clean and warm and newly equipped. Nice small refrigerator in the room.

No food served after 9pm. Gaming area downstairs closing super early, not very customer orientated. They were asking people to leave even though guests were still eating/ drinking beverages purchased at their bar. Shocking!
Friendly & helpful staff at reception. Good size rooms with comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms with amazing power shower. Good choice of food at breakfast. Nice pool with hot tubs.

Staff were... good. Monica (?) on reception was the best - kind, lovely, super friendly and helpful - however most of the others seemed almost annoyed we were bothering them so she became our 'go to' person - there was one member of the waiting staff (tall guy, spikey dark hair) who was also super lovely but he was pretty much the only one. Spa facilities were all booked up in advance so we had no chance of getting any massages/treatments which was super disappointing and you also had no chance of using the jacuzzi/ pool in the afternoon/evening as it was just too small for the amount of guests staying.
Apartment was very very clean and lovely to stay in - bed was weird though; had two single duvets rather than one double/king duvet. As a larger guy (big bones, not fat lol) it barely covered me. Bowling Alley was fun and the food throughout the stay was exceptionally good!

cleaning should be better maitnance and sound insulation of pipes and main doors
great location but poor standards of maitnance door missing shower tray leaking …. not bad breakfast but also not with out flaws in serving

We had booked two nights and just left after one night. The woman at the counter didn't care about this and didn't even ask why this was. For the money you pay here there are much better hotels. Soulless hotel, no atmosphere. The accommodations are much too small for the number of guests staying there. swimming pool is overcrowded, bowling was full every day. Lamps in the rooms are white LED light which is very cold. I will never come back!
When we arrived the wife of n de bali was friendly.

There was no wi-fi in Hotel&Apartments at all. Moreover, 3G is very poor, that's why there is no option for work. Coffee machines on a breakfast constantly broken, too much time spent during waiting of some dishes and clean plates. Sauna is very cold. Jacuzzi is too chlorine. Pillows are not good.
Clean beautiful rooms, right near the sea so you can hear it and see it from balcony. Breakfast was varied enough.

The breakfast was nothing short of horrific. There are only a few simple things a hotel has to do to make breakfast perfect for most. Decent filter coffee, bread, juice and some good scrambled eggs. They missed on 3/4 points. - awful instant coffee, smelt like cigarettes - awful juice, extremely watered down - scrambled eggs were more like soup. Other negatives - sauna was only warm, not hot, completely ineffective -no internet connection to the tv, sadly (which was a great tv) but without the internet connection may as well be a tv from 1999 Also just ask how much things cost everywhere because the hotel likes to hide some of this information. Like bowling, you can’t find any information about how much it costs, only when you get the bill.
The rooms were great! We booked the premium apartment and this was really nice. -Pool was good -bowling alley and food was great

The mix of the Staff from the bowling waitress to the usual waiters forcing on us new norms and also the miss comunication when ordering food in the bowling.
The location, the pool, the food, the room, the environement.
