Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The shower head wouldn't stay in place, which made it very difficult to use. Other than that, the bathroom was very nice.
The hotel is located about halfway between the main train station, and the old part of the city by the Elbe river. The view directly in front of the window seat looked out onto a large, beautiful church. The bed was comfortable and the staff was helpful and accommodating, with prompt service. The room had several amenities that were free of charge. The breakfast buffet was wonderful, with an extensive selection, and a very attentive staff!

Large modern hotel in the perfect location overlooking the Altmarkt, Kreuzkirche, and two blocks to the Zwinger and Residenz Palace. Great tram lines within 1-2 blks of hotel to get to train station or across bridge to Neustadt. We were there during the Dresden Spring Market and our room overlooked the festivities in the Altmarkt. It was a great spot for a beer and sausage on a roll for lunch. (We actually did that all 3 days we were there!) Good room, very comfy beds, large bathroom with a good shower, many outlets for charging devices, and coffee/tea maker in room. We were able to check in early around noon. We elected not to have our room cleaned daily and for that we got a daily drink coupon that we used in their bar on the 1st floor. Although breakfast wasn't included in price, there was a bakery right outside the hotel for daily coffee and pastry.

The wifi failed in the middle of one of my nights. No a problem, but a small debit.
Brilliant location for those days interested innFrierichstadt. Access to Altstadt area was perfect. Great staff, modern garage facilities, large comfortable room; three elevators for easy access. Can’t wait to come back!!

The price of the room was very high because of large concerts in the area. Gluten free bread was too modest. Not gluten free toast.

The location is unbeatable, near transit, major sites, shopping and restaurants yet very quiet. We enjoyed the included wet and dry saunas. The staff was very helpful

Location was amazing. All tourist attractions within walking distance, malls, restaurants, supermarkets, the amazing Praegerstrasse nearby, Altmakt. Also right opposite a huge church. Room was spacious and lovely with minibar, tea/coffee, A/C, lift and amenities. Excellent breakfast spread, staff was nice. Would definitely stay in NH Collection hotels everywhere, if all their hotels are like this

The only suggestion I’d propose is maybe to attach some protective material on the edge of the bathroom window. The bathtub is a bit small for shower - It would be safer to avoid any unintended cut.
Very good location - convenient commute to Hbf and all tourist attractions. Quiet, clean and very friendly staff.

Clean and nice and wooden floor! I am really not for carpeted floors as I think carpets hide too many dusts n mites.
A great location and a 3 minutes walk to the square. Quiet and the room was good size with all the amenities
