A parking spot isn't guaranteed, as they have more rooms than parking spaces, but that's to be expected in the area. That being said, the one night that we couldn't get a parking spot, we were able to park on the street right in front, which is free overnight, but metered during the day.

Uncomfortable bed, room felt cramped, breakfast was repetitive and the dining tables were rammed together - even then there wasn't enough for the number of guests that wanted to eat

Good location in what could be a lovely heritage home (tho the decor and furnishings were old fashioned but NOT classic or heritage so it wasn't) It was very hot while we were in Halifax - the ceiling fan helped us sleep All the staff were friendly and helpful

The bed was very noisy - even if you moved a little bit it made a lot of noise, which seemed to come from the mattress.

A great place to stay in Halifax, within walking distance of the downtown attractions with considerably more charm & lower prices than the big hotels. Our room was large and welcoming. We appreciated the good-sized closet, the table & chairs by large windows, fun & funky decor, & access to the shared dining room all day.

Room wasn't fully clean: hairs on the bathroom walls and in the shower, other small issues. Rooms very outdated but it is a heritage building. Beds very soft and not very comfortable.

Our only complaint was that the bathroom had some dirty spots, but it was rectified the next day! All in all fantastic service.

Highly recommend this B&B - we had a fantastic short break. The beds are comfy, the breakfast is amazing, the location is perfect for sight seeing. The owner was great - gave some awesome recommendations for dinners and markets to visit! It's an older building, so noise could be an issue at times, but we expected that. It is part of staying in historic homes.

The facility is very nice. Looks like a classic inn. The breakfast was also very nice. Very close to Spring Garden Road and the all the hosptals.

Rooms were very nice. Well decorated. Outside the the room had a comfy sitting area. It had a very nice history that the staff was able to share with us.

Coffee cups in room were to small for coffee maker, when filled to max line, cups overflowed and leaked We were lucky cause free street parking and they have only a few spots for parking at hotel…. Wish you could be guaranteed a parking spot
