Situated on the beachfront in Strand, Ocean Breeze Hotel offers an outdoor pool, a restaurant and meeting facilities. The hotel is a short walk away from the Strand Golf Club. The old man at reception and all staff were so helpful and friendly. Service with a smile. We were so impressed!

This was a jewel in our stay in South Africa. The location and the views from the apartment were fantastic, overlooking False bay and all the way down to the Cape Of Good Hope. The apartment has all there facilities one could ask for and very clean. There is a gas BBQ on the balcony and two comfortable chairs for your use. There is a large pool on the top floor with BBQ facilities and a great seating area away from the wind. Michelle was very helpful and she could not do anymore top make our stay the best in South Africa.

Kim even helped us with our laundry as the laundries were closed over the week-end Kim was great at giving us some tips for our stay. We loved the area. Would definitely come back

Nestled between the Hottentots-Holland mountains and the Atlantic Ocean, Bloemenzee Boutique B&B is situated in Gordon's Bay. The stylish bed and breakfast features 2 outdoor pools and a sun terrace. Arriving at Bloemenzee, you are warmly welcomed by Frans and Lidwien and that amazing hospitality continued throughout our stay. They both show a real interest in you and are amazing hosts. They make you feel at home. Our room was spacious, beds are comfy, with tea, coffee and tasty cookies available. The garden is beautifully maintained with two pools to cool off. The breakfasts were great and we had an evening meal cooked by Frans which was so delicious, some of the best food we had all trip. We were sad to leave and will definitely be returning.

Big Skies Guesthouse is situated in Gordon's Bay and only 300 metres away from the beach edged by restaurants and shops. All rooms are air-conditioned and the guest house has an outdoor pool. The location is ideal. Gordon's Bay is a nice little town, not far from Cape Town or the airport. The setting is spectacular, with mountains and sea, and the beach is protected from major waves. There are a number of excellent restaurants within walking distance. The town is safe and the property secure. There is a beautiful drive along the coast towards Betty's Bay, which I highly recommend. There is a colony of African penguins there. Big Skies has a small pool, which we used in the heat of the afternoon. The breakfasts were very good, and there was a decent amount of variety. I enjoy the personal attention of guesthouses and small hotels, and Kobus and Irene were excellent hosts. Conversation at breakfast and the bar with them and other guests was enjoyable. Parking is inside the property gates and is secure.
