Lala lodge Pemba Zanzibar offers accommodation in Mkoani. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. All rooms come with air conditioning and a private bathroom equipped with a shower. This is a hidden gem of small village just a stone away from Mkoani ferry terminal. This lodge is a part of village scenery. You can see and listen how the people working, walking, and even singing! I enjoyed some communications with village people, they are very friendly and hospitable. I enjoy sunset time when dhows are going back in reddish shining water reflecting sunset. Night time is very quiet. This is as if home away home. Denis, the owner, is very friendly and helpful, knowing a lot about Pemba and Africa. His family and stuff have full of hospitality. They even prepared a breakfast box for my early departure in the morning. I highly recommend and hope to go back soon!

Located in Wesha, in the pristine Pemba Island Region, Pemba Misali Sunset Beach features a virgin beach with free private parking available on-site. Free WiFi is available in all public areas. This was the nicest place we could find near Chake Chake town. It was peaceful. The room was basic but comfortable and had what we needed. And the view from the front porch was beautiful. The food was really excellent! They served beer, too. The staff was unfailingly helpful and cheerful and kind.

The Aiyana Resort and Spa offers accommodation in Verani and features a restaurant. The resort has a year-round outdoor pool and views of the sea, and guests can enjoy a drink at the bar. Aiyana is a must-go if you travel to Tanzania and especially to Zanzibar. The hotel is just amazing and the staff members are the most welcoming and caring people you can wish for. We spent 6 days there and had the best experience as a couple. We really hope we can come back very soon. We highly recommend their rock spa massage, during sunset, that is situated on a rock and that you can reach by a 3 min kayak drive, as well as their private dinner on the beach. Service and food are amazing.

Pemba Lodge is an eco-friendly resort offering bungalows made out of recycled boats and natural local materials. Absolutely stunning little place, incredible setting, staff go above and beyond to please you. Food absolutely incredible. The staff and local people are so humble, attentive and genuine. The setting is amazing and is a complete retreat. Local people and very friendly too. I’d definitely return for sure.

Also, the location was perfect for snorkeling and relaxing. Nice / interesting conversations with staff and other guests. If I return to Pemba, this is where I would want to stay.

Located near the village of Makangale in North Pemba, Gecko Nature Lodge Home of Swahili Divers the BEST dive center and Famous Gecko Restaurant features a dive centre. A home away from home. The place is very remote and quiet. For nature lovers, it is a real paradise. Coconut crabs right on the property and many bush babies around at night. Food is excellent and staff very friendly and helpful. We went there to do our scuba certification and Mike the owner is the best teacher you can have. We stayed a week but wish we could have stayed longer.

Emerald Bay Resort is located in Chokocho village in the south of Pemba. Surrounded by tropical vegetation, this Arabic-styled resort faces a characteristic natural port. Service and Staff were extremely lovely and helpful! We actually had one of the best experiences in Zanzibar (Pemba).
