Thai Thai Sukhothai Resort biedt kamers met een traditioneel design op 1,5 km afstand van het historische park Sukhothai, dat op de Werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO staat. Het huisje zelf was ook echt top: ruim opgezet, heel mooi gemaakt van hout, een heerlijk bed en hele goede airco. Als bonus was de (zeer betaalbare) Thaise massage die we boekten voor op de kamer via de receptie ook super.

Baan Georges Hotel bevindt zich in Sukhothai, op 13 km van Sukhothai Historical Park, en heeft accommodatie met airconditioning en een terras. The hotel is a beautiful colonial-style building. Rooms are very spacious and clean, and have private balconies. Also, the swimming pool is really nice. The staff was very friendly. I had messed up with my reservation but the owner was really understanding and helpful and fixed everything. I really appreciated that.

The receptionist was one of the friendliest people we have met in Thailaand, and was extremely attentive. The staff are attentive even when not needed, and all you have to do is look up and around for one of them to ask you if you need something. This hotel is brimming with old Thai charm, so if you want to stay in an authentic teak house, this is as close as I have seen. The courtyard with the pool was picture perfect. There's even a gift shop with handmade local goods, and the restaurant was fantastic. Beautiful artwork and antiques are all around.

We loved our stay at this property, it is very well landscaped and felt very peaceful. The greenery added a particular charm to this location and it was very close to the historical park, we opted to walk there which took 20 minutes, you can also hire bicycles which would make this quicker. We enjoyed our massages here and the food was very good. The room was very well decorated and comfortable and our terrace overlooked a pond which was particularly nice to enjoy a morning coffee. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

The room is huge, spotlessly clean, and airy with much natural light. It has authentic Thai décor around the very comfortable bed. Free use of the functioning bikes is a huge bonus (especially when Sukhothai is such a pleasant, leafy town to bike around). The host is kind, courteous, and super helpful, who goes an extra mile to help.

Sabai Sabai Sukhothai - SHA PLUS ligt op 39 km van Sukhothai Historical Park, en biedt een 3-sterrenaccommodatie in Ban Khlong Krachong en heeft gratis fietsen, een tuin en een terras. Hoewel sommige personeelsleden beperkt Engels spreken zijn ze heel vriendelijk en helpen ze je graag. Kamers zijn prima en het is een rustige omgeving.

Jitra Resort bevindt zich in Sukhothai, op 12 km van Sukhothai Historical Park, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een terras en een bar. For the price, this is a good option. Its located near to the night street market, which we liked, but the town itself does not have a lot to offer in terms of eating and attractions. The historical area is 12km away, 20 mins in a tuktuk 150 baht..... so if you choose here, plan to spend most of your day in the historical part and eat around there too. We noted some of the rooms said cleanliness was not up to standard but our room was fine. There was discolouration on the tiles and wear and tear in the bathroom which may give the impression of looking unclean, but it was ok. The staff are pleasant and helpful, they found us a lovely tuktuk lady who we used to get us around. If you hire a bike, choose the bike hire on the corner before you enter the historical park, its 30baht. Inside the park they are 4 x the price
