Caravelas ligger vid Madalena på ön Pico. Hotellet omges av Atlanten på 3 sidor och har utsikt över ön Faial. Här finns en utomhuspool, en 24-timmarsreception och biluthyrning. I don't understand why so many people are complaining about this hotel. It is as close to the ferry terminal as you can get. , The rooms are clean and tidy. The pool has a nice view on Faial, and is beeing cleaned every morning (and they are probably the only ones having a pool in Pico anyway...) You can walk in less than 5 minutes to all the different tour operators (Diving, Hiking, Whalewatching, Rentalcars....) and restaurants. It is maybe a bit dated, but I felt like they were doing their best at being welcomig. They even organise a mini breakfast buffet from 04 a.m - 7 a.m for people leaving early on hikes or diving tours...! Keep in mind that every Airbnb in the area is more expensive , without offering you room service, breakfast or a pool area. If you come to Pico for its great nature activities, and want an easy hotel, thats your place to go!!

Loving Strangers Hostel ligger i Madalena och erbjuder en trädgård, en gemensam lounge, en terrass och en bar. Boendet har karaoke och ett gemensamt kök. This is not your regular hostel experience. This is something more. You feel here like you are home. Pedro and Stefan treat you like a part of family. I highly recomend to stay here.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa do Mar. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Relaxing atmosphere and beautiful view of the sea and Faial island on one side, and of Mount Pico on the other. Hosts are very friendly and welcoming. Ideal location - walkable distance from Madalena center and from several natural pools, and a 10-minute drive from the airport. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. Wish we could have stayed longer. Would absolutely recommend!

O Zimbreiro ligger i Piedade i regionen Ilha do Pico och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering. this place is amazing; a must stay if you are on the island of Pico. The hosts are two of the most lovely people and so helpful in all things related to our time on Pico. The property is beautiful. The dinner they host is basically Michelin star worthy. I really can’t recommend O Zimbreiro more highly. Unique and beautiful.
