It was exactly what we needed! The room was big enough, the staff super friendly, everything was tidy and clean, it was with a very relaxed vibe and space for our 3 year old to explore play and enjoy. The breakfast was with enough variety and very good. We're happy we found it :)

Everything was perfect, the property is gorgeous and so is the room. It's super spacious and the design of it makes you feel super relaxed. The breakfast was amazing, fresh local produce, no food waste like in other hotels, the service was top notch. Coming from hotel industry myself I can definitely say that service was outstanding. Paolo, who served us during breakfast during our stay, was absolutely amazing and really took care of us and our little toddler. Dinner menu was great as well. The property name means room to breathe and honestly it was exactly that. We've never had such relaxing and rejuvenating stay. Would love to come back one day.

Located in the quiet countryside of Santiago do Cacém and 20 km from Costa Vicentina and its beaches, Hotel Rural Monte Xisto offers luxurious rooms and an apartment with private balconies overlooking... Had a nice time at the Hotel, the owner really cares about his guests. Since I was hiking and got a little of the track to get to the hotel he even drove me to the next crossing were I could continue to walk the Rota Vincentina. The hotel has a separated building block with guest apartments on the ground floor. Absolutely recommend the place. If I will get back into the region I will for sure spend a few nights there again.
