Guests can cool off in the outdoor swimming pool or relax by the pool with a drink from the bar. - A very comfortable hotel, well-managed and in ship-shape condition. - Spottlessly clean. - Staff in the reception and in the restaurant were cheerful, helpful and professional. - The pool was nice for a quick dip and the pool bar worked very well. - Dinner was delicious.

I was very happy with my entire stay. ( 10 nights ). Room was excellent. Location very convenient. Bed was comfortable. I would definitely stay again and would recommend it yo others.

Set beside Picton Harbour, this stylish and modern hotel provides a great base to explore the dramatic local coastline and New Zealand's wine country. Everything! We stay here every time we come to Picton. It has location location location! It also has lovely comfortable spacious clean rooms. The breakfast is generous and delicious and the staff are always delightful.

The Portage Resort er í aðeins 15 mínútna fjarlægð með bát frá Picton og býður upp á herbergi með einkasvölum eða verönd og töfrandi útsýni yfir Marlborough Sound.Gestir geta slakað á við... The hotel is under new management and I could not fault it. The staff were welcoming, attentive and super friendly. The reception and restaurant area looked newly renovated and was modern and fresh. My meal in the restaurant was very tasty. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I slept well. And the General Manager very kindly dropped me back to the start of the QC track in the morning. Plus the sunset view from the bar is breathtaking. Don’t be put off By the bad reviews - the new management seem to be doing a fantastic job!
