From the staff to food and location. It feels so homely and calm. The view from our room was directing the lake and we could just sit hours on end, enjoying the view. The lady at the check-in/out was just delightful; very helpful (helped us plan our next day's trip toward fjords), open and super funny. :) We would love to stay longer and explore the surroundings.

Esta antiga fazenda está situada na pitoresca cidade de Lom, perto do Parque Nacional de Jotunheim. Truly wonderful place with very friendly and helpful owners. Outstanding food - unforgettable diners and magnificent breakfast. If you add all this to fantastic nature around this is definitely a place to go to!

Turtagrø Hotel has traditions dating back to the 1880s. This hotel is located 884 meters above sea level, at the foot of Vest-Jotunheimen. This is a fantastic location with some of the more interesting hiking and climbing routes in Norway, near the Jotunheimen Nasjonalpark. We choose the accomodation in the "Swiss chalet" and this allow us to save a lot of money :-) without losing the magnificence of the place and additional services provided by the hotel like for example the very good dinner (one of the best we have in Norway). The Chalet is really beautiful and extremely functional. Clean and full of services, like the shower and the drying room.

Every single aspect of our stay made it an exceptional one: the location was perfect, the rooms were cozy and clean, the food was always delicious and plentiful, and most of all: the warm yet professional service of the Bessheim was exceptional. At Bessheim, you can really feel and see everyone go the extra mile to make sure, you have everything you need to enjoy your stay. I highly recommend staying at the Bessheim and would love to return and stay even longer the next time.

The Skjolden Hotel was the high point of my trip. I was passing through the area and stayed for three nights. I was immediately captivated by the view of the fjord, then stayed for the excellent food from the kitchen and the lovely staff. if I had the time I would have stayed for a week.

The hotel is located in the middle of the Jotunheimen natural reserve park and has several hiking trips starting right outside the door. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the beer list is amazing and long, dinners are outstanding. This place is literally perfect!
