Really spacious and clean room, nicely furnished. Beds are firm and sleep very well. Walking distance from restaurants and the beach, central. Very convenient and safe to walk to. Undercover parking very convenient too. Good wifi. And very helpful staff that advised and booked restaurants for us, but also helped us to get back the laptop our son had forgotten in his room ;). Khan River Lodge is a secluded location, wild and highly scenic, surrounded by private land. It is about 20 km off the B2 road, which we did not quite realize until we got there. The drive itself is a lot of fun, as we saw lots of wildlife, but it is a mix of sand and dirt, challenging for smaller cars without 4WD. The property is cozy, with only about six double-occupancy units, of which we were occupying two (we were traveling as two adults and two older children). The "restaurant" is the lodge kitchen: two wonderful ladies preparing delicious meals and serving them in style. There is no posted menu, but the daily food offerings are artfully presented and tasty, based on local produce and meat. We did not realize we would be the only guests -- and we booked the self-catering option, counting on eating at the restaurant. We had booked self-catering options in other locations, but never realized how remote this one was. Upon arrival, we learned that the expectation for "self-catering" was that we would bring our own food and not need the restaurant. Since the property was just opening after the New Year holiday, they had to scramble a bit, but were kind enough to accommodate (read: feed) us. We loved the meals and the ambiance, the quiet, the lack of light pollution at night, the variety of wildlife roaming around the property, and the laid-back atmosphere -- self-service honesty bar, well-stocked and open to us at all hours.

The Residence at Villa Wiese situa-se em Swakopmund, a 14 minutos a pé de Praia Mole e a 1,3 km de Palm Beach. I absolutely loved the warm welcome and how accommodating the venue is. The rooms are spacious. The location is walking distance from everything. The breakfast is phenomenal and the special touch of dog treats on a plate made our day. We felt welcome and special. We also loved the little bakery and the freshly baked bread.

Great beach hotel. It is what it says -- a great little hotel RIGHT ON THE BEACH. The pictures are true... our patio door walked right out onto that lovely green lawn and then to the beach. It was great that they offered a family room, it had a nice patio and small fridge and coffee/tea station. It wasn't the most elegant decor, but it was clean and completely met our needs for a beach get away. Free parking -- it was tight to get to our assigned spot, but the car gaurd was always on duty to help ease one into the space.

Eu estive hospedada em uma das suítes do hotel que, apesar do tamanho médio, oferecia todas as comodidades necessárias para tornar uma estadia de médio prazo (sete dias) muito confortável: poltronas, mesa, sofá, cama grande, minibar, cafés e chás disponível todos os dias, itens de higiene (shampoo, sabonete, secador, gel para banho), guarda-roupa e maleiro, além da varanda com vista para o mar. Estive nos três restaurantes e todos ofereciam um cardápio amplo, cada um numa especialidade diferente. É possível provar as cervejas produzidas localmente. Fácil acesso ao centro da cidade, atrações turísticas e lojas. Há uma feira de artesanato local não muito distante igualmente. Equipe muito atenciosa e cordial.

Offering views of the Atlantic Ocean and located a short walk from the Jetty and and the National Marine Aquarium, Swakopmund Sands features a lounge and bar area. Rhe staff were very helpful and went out of their way to accommodate my needs. I was looked after and felt treasured. I will return in 2023 to enjoy a winter vacation in the most beautiful stretch of the West Coast of Namibia.
