After Mexico city and Guanjuato where English was not great, communication was great in Oaxaca. We received gifts on arrival, some artisan soaps and gifts on departure, this was so unexpected and a great touch. The staff were always asking how they could help, like getting some water or a coffee or food, at no charge by the way. The hotel is small with an open courtyard in the middle and had a great atmosphere and feel to the place. It was our second favourite city behind San Miguel de Allende.

I recommend this hotel because it's comfortable, pretty, artistic, clean and has a great location. The restaurant is so nice and relaxing, I loved the rooftop and the food was excellent. It felt like being at home with a luxurious touch.

And their included breakfast was a high point , great start to the day , nothing continental here, later went to hotel Escondido and terrestre but Casa TO outdoes them .!
