A wonderful remote place to stay. Where you can enjoy nature, sauna, each other, and nothing else (if this is what you were looking for - you wont need anything else). All the facilities are there and exactly as you'd expect them to be. The hosts know to greet you and then to leave you alone completely until you check out. Bring all your own things (food, drinks, etc) because there is nothing around... Mobile phone (internet) coverage is surprisingly good.

The cabin owner was great - she met me and gave me the keys + instructions even though I did not book in advance and called just a few hours before. The cabin was very comfortable and cosy. It was very warm inside even though outside was cold. It was very quiet even though it's next to the main road. I liked the old style of the cabin and the hospitality of the owner. Highly recommended!

This place is quiet and not too far away from the Aglona city center. That's just what I wanted, enjoy nature, but at the same time close to shops. Private beach (lake) is just amazing. They have fully equipped kitchen.

Excellent location, perfect for relaxing, right by the lake or having breakfast in the terrace by the lake. Perfect for visiting Aglona only green l few minutes away in the car. Everything is new and pleasant in the little house! The key exchange was super easy, we were welcomed by the owner and all our questions where answered, even the sauna was offered to use. Safe place, car parking available on the new driveway too.

Featuring a garden and views of lake, BALTĀ māja is a recently renovated guest house located in Aglona, less than 1 km from Aglona Basilica. With garden views, this accommodation provides a patio. Loved the creative elements in the room. Liked that everything was super clean and the garden was well taken care of. As this place has opened just recently, I hope it maintains the level of service for a long time. We stayed just for a night, but would have loved to stay more to enjoy the peacefulness of the place.
