Reuben-the Guru took great care of us and made sure we enjoyed the game drives and also ensured our safety at every step. Edward has special “Masai Vision” that can spot Lions from 2 Kms with bare eyes when binoculars may fail! The river behind property has plenty of Hippos and you can get great hippo views and wake-up alarms! Please take note of additional Conservancy Fees based on No of pax, when you book, resort is inside Pvt. Conservancy which has almost extinct Whide Rhino pairs. Masai Mara National reserve is 2 hrs one way drive from resort. Resort Land Cruisers with soft tops are good and have open views!

Set at the source of Sekenani River in Masai Mara National Reserve, Sekenani Camp Maasai Mara offers an authentic bush experience. Sekenani was our first stay in Kenya. Upon arrival we were met with friendly animal neighbors and lush trees. It was quiet and beautiful. I wondered how I would sleep with all the sounds around me. Let me tell you I’ve never slept better! Waking up to the sun peeking through the trees with its rays making little dances on our faces was the perfect way to start the day. When evening came, we were tired and happy from our Safari, the bonfire was ready for us and we just sat there enjoying each others company while reflecting back on our day. The staff was always helpful and the food was amazing! This is definitely the place to be when first visiting Kenya and planning a Safari.
