We enjoyed the Lodge Hotel from the moment we arrived: the welcome was very friendly and uncomplicated. We had the feeling to stay with friends. We had the feeling that the people working there, enjoyed their work and life. The parc is beautiful: the old trees, the ponds and the creek gave a very special atmosphere. A specialty seems to be fly-fishing, which was interesting to watch from the distance. The rooms were large and clean and equipped with everything you could ask for. The dinner and the breakfast were very good and we enjoyed our stay a lot.

The physical building is beautiful, the rooms are very well equipped. fabulous linen, comfy bed. the staff were incredibly accommodating. we were late arriving and had a dinner reservation but they happily encouraged us to take time for an aperitif on the terrace. nothing was rushed. the restaurant is the jewel in the crown. absolutely exceptional local produce beautifully cooked and an amazing array of wine to choose from. an incredible experience from start to finish.

Metz è una cittadina tranquilla e accogliente.
Metz è una cittadina tranquilla e accogliente. La passeggiata lungo la Mosella era riposante in compagnia dei bellissimi cigni. Abbiamo mangiato in centro in una brasserie deliziosa. Da Metz è facile spostarsi in tutta la Lorena e consiglierei alle famiglie una gita in barca o una semplice passeggiata in centre ville.

We have terrace with a view to Lake Gérardmer and the location which is just across the park going to the Lake. It's also a 5 minutes walk to the city center. The breakfast with a variety of home made cakes and local produce such as the jam's and so much more. Room quite small but we have everything we need.
