The staff at this family-run hotel was amazing. They went out of their way to answer our many questions with kindness. Breakfast is 7-9 am; we had an early check-out and they woke up early to make us breakfast and arranged our bus transfer. Loved this place! Highly recommended.

We arrived at 10 pm and they arranged a tour for us for the next day, including a private guide. In the morning they were so kind to make us a lunch package as we were leaving early. This is an excellent lodging when in San Agustin. It is a bit outside of the town but the owners offer the pickup and drop off for guests arriving and leaving by bus. And the location offers splendid views and such a relaxing, quiet atmosphere. The rooms are very comfortable, spacious and clean. The breakfast is very tasty with delicious home-made arepas. For other meals it’s possible to order to the hotel. The owners are wonderful, kind people, sharing a lot of good advice on what is worth seeing in the area, arranging guides and dropping guests of at the Archeological Park.

They have gone out of their way to keep this hotel in it’s original splendour! This is one of the best places I stayed while in Colombia for six weeks. The location is perfect. It is on the central square but all rooms are set back from the street if you have sensitive hearing.

It’s a bit oustside from San Agustin village, so you will need to walk up the hill and it’s dark in the evening, or you have to take a taxi or motorbike. But the place itself is a little paradies! I was visiting in low season and had the dorm for myself. The bed was very comfortable and cosy - it was a queen size bed - in a dorm! I felt very welcome and home and extended one more night to enjoy the hammock in front of my room. Had an interesting chat with the owner and played with the cats&dogs arround. There is a kitchen but the food at the restaurant is reasonable in price and very delicious. The vegetable curry was fantastic! The little chalets looked lovely too! I would recommend and always come back!
