We stayed at Blue Sea Resort for nine nights over Chinese New Year, and we had an amazing time. The room was spacious with a great view and was very warm and comfortable. It was great to get a nice breakfast every morning, cooked to order. The hotel is right on the lake, in a beautiful and quiet spot, not as busy as the some of the other sports along the lake and was nice and quiet, even during the busy period. It is easy to get a Didi to take you into the old town, that takes less that 15 minutes, so everything is very accessible, so the best of both worlds. The owner of the hotel Mr Young, is extremely friendly, he contacted us in advance and helped us to arrange a car from the airport and from then on was always available to help us with anything that we needed and prepared breakfast for us whenever we were ready in the morning. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely be back!

Set a 2-minute walk from Nanmen Bridge, Lijiang Gemmer Hotel provides rooms with air conditioning in Lijiang Old Town Area. The hotel has a great location and environment, and the garden is very beautiful. The hotel rooms are clean and hygienic, and the beds are very comfortable. The hotel staff are very enthusiastic and hospitable, treating you like an old friend to drink tea and eat fruits. It is very rare that the hotel staff can speak some English and can basically meet daily communication needs. They can even use translation software to provide you with consultation services on attractions, cuisine, transportation, and more.

Located in the heart of Kunming, Cachet Boutique Kunming Artime features lavish guestrooms with elegant and comfortable interiors. Fantastic hotel, great interior, wonderful staff. Traveled with our two kids and stayed in the suite together.

Situated in the heart of Lijiang Ancient Town, 7 to 8 minutes' walk from Dashuiche and Square Street, Jianshe Inn offers simple Japanese-style accommodation. Jianshe Inn is located within the Dayan Ancient Town scenic area but a little away from all the hustle and bustle of one of the main pedestrian streets. Therefore it's a great place to stay at if you cherish your quiet time and are into having a good night's sleep. I stayed at three different rooms and all of them are spacious plus providing all the desired necessities. The cleaning lady does a great job in keeping them very tidy as well. I can definitely recommend staying at "The Deluxe King Room with balcony" as it comes with a lovely big bath tub. The accommodation provides a shared laundry machine and a place to dry your wet clothes as well which is quite handy of course. All in all Jianshe Inn comes highly recommended!!

Only a short 1-minute stroll from Shuhe Ancient Town, The Bivou features accommodation in local and modern styles combined together. We just really loved the Bivou. I read very good reviews, but still the place exceeded my expecations. If I am ever going to write my memoires, I will do it here:) This place just breaths tranquility. We loved the little vegetable gardens in front of the hotel, the staff was extremely helpful and the area around the hotel is really lovely. I travelled the whole world and Le Bivou definitely makes it to my worldwide top 5.

The bed was incredibly comfortable. The hotel's dining options were outstanding. I indulged in delicious meals at the on-site restaurants. The attentive service and elegant ambiance made each dining experience truly memorable. Overall, my stay at the Intercontinental Hotel in Kunming exceeded all expectations. From the luxurious accommodations to the outstanding service, every aspect of my experience was nothing short of five stars. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kunming.
